Do it Becky! It was such fun. I loved seeing everyone pick their gifts from my stash too. Told them that the only reason I had all of these things to give to them was because they helped me earn them...and if they EVER wanted to come back and do this again then they needed to help me earn some more! I got 6 bookings and I'm sure with a few phone calls I could get a few more of them to book. I would have had a couple more, but with the 2 that joined my team a few bookings that I would have had are going to them, which I'm completely okay with :D

Thanks Becky!

Ya know, when I was planning this party something kept nagging me about the date (I didn't have it marked on my calendar as a day I wanted to work). Then about 2 weeks ago, it hit me that the 7th is the one year anniversary when my dad died. I decided to go ahead and keep the party as scheduled since so many of the people who came were the ones who carried me through the time while I was in FL and after he died by checking on me, collecting catalog orders and ordering from my website. I'm so glad I did, I feel like my dad was smiling down on me yesterday.....and Lord knows that man loved a party! lol!

Hey saw your FB posts--WAY TO GO!!! Whee, you are BACK.....! Congratulations!

I was thinking I would try to do it in December. Then I looked and I really don't have a whole lot of open dates left! I have a couple who still want to set up shows and I hope those come through. I may have some straggling shows that just won't close out in November, so that'll at least give me some sales for December. I think I may plan a HOst Appreciation Show for whenever double points will be. That way, we'll get over the holidays and hopefully do it in February. So, even if my neighbor ends up doing a Dec. show, it won't interfere.

GREAT job Linda! I'm so excited for you!

Hey Linda...I need what you just got...
A team transfusion

Awe, I just read the significance of the date. :) I'm glad that you went ahead with the date and that it was a great success for you. ;)

WOW Linda I'm just catching up on the threads.....Fantastic job!!!!

I do believe that your Dad was working for you!! He would be trilled that you we happy and prosperous on this date! I am doing a Kris Kringle on the first weekend of December. Not sure what I am going to do yet, but I will be stealing some of Linda's ideas!!

Holy cow! That's SOOO awesome.

Hmmm, now you've got me rethinking doing a host appreciation show in December. Turns out my neighbor I've been waiting on won't do her show 'til Feb or later, so now I'm thinking of throwing something together. I especially would LOVE the bookings.:D:D:D
