So, what are y'all doing for your shows in June? This is the first time that I am completely clueless what I recipe I want to offer for the month!

I think I'm going the ice cream route. Maybe a coldstone show...haven't decided yet.

I'm making salads all summer long. June is the Layered BBQ Chicken Cobb Salad in the Trifle Bowl. It shows off the BBQ basting bottle, too! I plan to bring outdoor plates and utensil sets to use at the parties.

I am doing the aloha pizza or jamaican jerk pasta salad as a demo, and then bringing a light trifle....angel food cake/strawberries/jello mixed with with coolwhip!

I can't find that either! But yet, I remember it! Sounds good, please share!:)

Salads are my choice this year too. I think I'm going to do Rae's "no demo" show too! I use to do that a long time ago, and I think I'm going to do that for the summer again! The other one I think would be fun would be Ice Cream shows and Ice Cream Nacho shows! :D

What is a "no demo" show?

You make the food at home and bring it to the show made and they eat when they get there and then you show them your tools using a potato, and/or carrot and/or cucumber. I have found out that customers really like eating first and they pay more attention when they are not starving! It also shaved about 30-45 minutes off my show time!:D

they also call it a potato show. Go to theme shows and then look for the Potato show-yay thread.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some easy recipes to showcase at my June Pampered Chef shows?

For June shows, consider recipes that highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients. Some easy options include a summer pasta salad with fresh vegetables, a refreshing fruit salsa served with cinnamon chips, or grilled chicken skewers with a zesty marinade. These recipes are not only simple to prepare but also allow you to demonstrate various Pampered Chef tools.

How can I incorporate seasonal fruits into my June recipes?

June is a great time to use seasonal fruits like strawberries, blueberries, and peaches. You can create a delicious berry parfait with yogurt and granola, a peach cobbler using the Pampered Chef stoneware, or a vibrant fruit salad. These dishes can showcase the versatility of your kitchen tools while appealing to the fresh flavors of summer.

What types of appetizers work well for June shows?

For appetizers, consider light and refreshing options that are perfect for summer gatherings. Caprese skewers with fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomatoes, or a chilled cucumber and cream cheese dip served with crackers are great choices. These appetizers are easy to prepare and can be made ahead of time, allowing you to focus on your presentation during the show.

How can I make my June recipes interactive for guests?

To make your recipes interactive, involve your guests in the cooking process. Set up a "make-your-own" station for items like tacos or mini pizzas, where guests can choose their toppings. You can also have them participate in assembling a salad or dessert, which encourages engagement and allows them to use Pampered Chef tools firsthand.

What are some dessert ideas that are perfect for summer shows?

For summer desserts, consider lighter options that won’t weigh guests down. A no-bake cheesecake topped with fresh berries, a fruit tart made with a buttery crust, or a simple sorbet can be perfect. These desserts are refreshing and can be prepared in advance, making them ideal for a summer show while showcasing your kitchen products.
