I have a host who can think of 8 people to invite. Thankfully, she knows that's not enough but she is relatively new to the area and works from home. Does anyone have a list of different guest catagories or inspring email to send her? I'd like to give her a bit of inspiration. THANKS....

Some wording I've been using lately:

Who is your dreamboat actor? Okay, the universe has just been rearranged and, one month from today, you are marrying that actor. Who are you going to invite? I bet it's more than 8 people. Start with that list. [If they're married, I remind them to, at the end of the list, switch back to reality and invite all of their spouse's family and friends.] Don't try to figure out who would want to come. Invite everyone. Don't discriminate by age or gender. Young people, old people, and men have kitchens, too. They also have family members who may be big PC fans.

It seems to help people think outside the circle of friends they've seen at the last three PC shows.

There is also probably in FILES 50 guests in 5 minutes

Basically what's on there is family, friends, co workers, church friends, neighbors, the host from the last show, someone you know that could use an extra $100 a week, someone who likes FREE stuff, etc

Also, encourage her friends to bring a guest. If they do I usually give them a free gift like a Seasons Best cookbook to the person who brought the friend.

The show planner has some categories listed at the top of the page with the guest list. It's a good place to start.

Another way is FRANK
Friends
Relatives
Acquaintances
Neighbors
Kids (Kids' parents, teachers, after-school/church groups -- people who know your kids)

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best way to invite guests to my Pampered Chef party?

The best way to invite guests is to use a combination of personal invitations and social media. Start by reaching out to friends and family directly through phone calls, texts, or personalized messages. You can also create an event on social media platforms to reach a wider audience. Make sure to include all the essential details, such as the date, time, location, and theme of the party.

How far in advance should I invite guests to my party?

It’s recommended to invite guests at least 2-4 weeks in advance. This gives them enough time to adjust their schedules and make arrangements to attend. Sending reminders a week before the party can also help ensure that your guests remember the event and are excited to join.

What should I include in my invitation to make it appealing?

Your invitation should include the date, time, and location of the party, as well as a brief description of what guests can expect, such as cooking demonstrations, product samples, or special promotions. Adding a personal touch, like a fun theme or a specific dish you’ll be preparing, can also make your invitation more appealing.

How can I encourage guests to RSVP?

Encourage guests to RSVP by making it easy for them to respond. Include clear instructions on how to confirm their attendance, whether it’s through a reply to your message, a comment on your social media event, or a phone call. You can also create a sense of urgency by mentioning limited seating or exclusive offers for those who attend.

What if I have a shy guest who might not want to participate?

If you have a shy guest, try to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. You can personally reach out to them before the party to make them feel more comfortable. During the event, engage them in conversation and encourage participation by highlighting the fun and relaxed nature of the activities. Offering small group activities can also help them feel more at ease.
