Hi Everyone,

Can someone tell me how I upload my contacts from PP Plus to my website? It is asking me for a file name and I have no idea where they are filed:eek: !

I am not a techy! !

I know some of you are so great at it. Thanks for any help you can give me. !

You need to export them from P3 to a file, then upload that file.

Last I heard, there was still a glitch and PWS couldn't use the file exported from P3, although this may have been fixed.

I still have been unable to transfer from p3 to PWS I think it usually a file called contact.csv but I had fits trying to find it but since I convereted to P3 I have not been able to send my data to my PWS

You might call the techies at HO to see if the glitch has been fixed - If it has I bet they could even walk you through this - The guys are good

How about if you're still using PP?? Does anyone know how to export contacts from PP to the PWS/customer connection? I used to have the info saved on how to do it, but now I can't find it.

any help would be appreciated! If worse comes to worse, I"ll just call tech support Monday. Thanks!:)

I have been unable to get PWS to upload any of the exported P3 contacts (no matter what the format!)....aaarrrghhhh! Let us know what the techies at HO tell you. I'll give them a call myself if they solve your situation.

I too have not been able to do it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the process for importing contacts from Pp Plus to my website?

To import contacts from Pp Plus to your website, first, export your contacts from Pp Plus as a CSV file. Then, log into your website's admin panel, navigate to the contacts or import section, and upload the CSV file. Follow the prompts to map the fields correctly and complete the import process.

Are there any specific file formats required for importing contacts?

Yes, when importing contacts, you typically need to use a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format. Ensure that your exported file from Pp Plus is saved in this format to avoid any compatibility issues during the import process.

Will importing contacts overwrite existing contacts on my website?

This depends on the settings of your website's import tool. Some systems allow you to choose whether to overwrite existing contacts or to skip duplicates. Be sure to review the import options carefully before proceeding to avoid unintentional data loss.

What should I do if I encounter errors during the import process?

If you encounter errors during the import process, check the error messages provided by your website's import tool. Common issues include incorrect file formats, missing required fields, or data that doesn't match the expected format. Review your CSV file for any discrepancies and try the import again.

Can I import contacts in bulk, and is there a limit to the number of contacts?

Most websites allow bulk imports of contacts, but there may be a limit on the number of contacts you can import at one time. Check your website's documentation for specific limits and guidelines. If you have a large number of contacts, you may need to split them into smaller batches for successful import.
