I'm getting a LOT of cancelations lately. It seems it's hosts that book farther out. I'm worried now because I have NO shows for summer, but 4 for the fall already - I don't want to lose those fall shows! What do you all do to keep those hosts excited about their shows when they're so far away?

I have these postcards that I got from another consultant - they were originally for keeping January hosts excited over the holidays - I tweaked them to fit for my late summer hosts - you can tweak them a bit further to keep your fall hosts excited. I print them in brightly colored cardstock and then turn the sheet over and print the backs.

You're very welcome.
My onlu gripe about them is that they have very winter-ish recipes on them (because they were from wintertime) and I do not know how to put summer recipes on them without completely messing up the format.

I took it upon myself to add the Lime Berry Mousse Trifle to the cards. I love the idea, Carolyn!

Ann thank you SO much for adding the trifle recipe - it's FABULOUS!!!
If you want to add summer recipes to the other two pages that'd be great!
How'd ya do it?

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if my hosts are canceling their parties frequently?

If your hosts are canceling frequently, it's important to reach out to them to understand their reasons. Ask if there are specific challenges they are facing, such as scheduling conflicts or lack of interest from guests. Offering flexible party options, such as virtual parties or shorter timeframes, may help alleviate some of their concerns.

How can I support my hosts to reduce cancellations?

Provide your hosts with resources and support to help them feel more confident in their party planning. This can include offering tips on how to invite guests, creating engaging party themes, and sharing promotional materials. Regular communication and encouragement can also boost their motivation to follow through with their parties.

Are there specific times of year when cancellations are more common?

Yes, certain times of year, such as holidays or back-to-school season, may lead to increased cancellations as people become busier. Being aware of these trends can help you plan your schedule and adjust your expectations. Consider offering incentives for hosting during less busy times or creating themed events that align with seasonal interests.

What can I do to re-engage hosts who have canceled?

Reach out to hosts who have canceled to express your understanding and support. Ask if they would like to reschedule their party or if they need assistance with any specific concerns. Offering a small incentive, such as a discount or a free product for rescheduling, can also motivate them to give it another try.

How can I improve my overall host recruitment to minimize cancellations?

To improve host recruitment, focus on building strong relationships with potential hosts. Share success stories and testimonials from past hosts to showcase the benefits of hosting a party. Additionally, consider hosting informational sessions or workshops to educate potential hosts about the process and what they can gain from it, making them more likely to commit.
