cathyskitchen said:I have been recommending to my new consultants to wait until they qualify to get the website, b/c they can try it free for 3 months if they qualify in their first 30 (or is it 90?) days. Then, that's less $$ they have to put out initially, and they can see if it's really worth it to them. It's also a great thing to work towards and a goal to have for yourself to "earn" to get your website. I love my website and can't imagine my business without it, but most of my new consultants qualify by their 2nd show so they can get their website and continue growing their business. I don't think you have to have it for your first few shows, though.

cathyskitchen said:I print business cards and catalog labels for my new consultants for their first few shows and tell them to order the new ones once they get their website. I make sure they all qualify in their first 30 days and they usually do it in 2 shows (I help them with a Grand Opening).
As for using the email invitations feature, I just tell them to use evite.com until they get their website. Of course, if they just can't wait and they have the $$, they can do whatever they want, but most people who start their business with me tell me they're doing it to make more money, so I'm trying to help them make the most of everything. JMO!

Definately worth it for the convienence it adds to your hosts. I had one of my first 4 shows as a catalog show and the host had orders from different states and her show was over $700.

I see this as a business expense that I bother with only once a year - it saves you, your hosts, and your guests time on invites, tracking, and the almight outside orders. I had one host recently - $350 of her $700 show was outside orders thru the website.
The sooner you get online, the better IMO.
Having a Personal Website (PWS) means that you have set up your online presence to showcase and sell Pampered Chef products. If you had a PWS before qualifying, it indicates that you were proactive in establishing your business even before meeting the official requirements to be a consultant.
No, you cannot officially sell products or earn commissions until you are fully qualified as a Pampered Chef consultant. However, having a PWS allows you to share information about the products and your business, which can help you build interest and a customer base before you qualify.
Having a PWS before qualification can be beneficial as it allows you to start building a network and generating interest in your business. Once you are qualified, you can leverage that initial interest to boost your sales and customer engagement.
While waiting to be qualified, you can use your PWS to share product information, engage with potential customers, and promote upcoming virtual parties or events. It’s a great way to create buzz and prepare for your official launch.
Yes, there are limitations. You cannot process orders or earn commissions until you are officially qualified. However, you can still use your PWS for marketing purposes, sharing recipes, and building your brand awareness among potential customers.
