How Can Fundraisers Maximize Their Earnings?

SUMMARY

Fundraisers can maximize their earnings by understanding the commission structure associated with different fundraising methods. For orders under $600, fundraisers earn 10% or up to $60, while the organizer can earn 15%. In contrast, hosting a regular cooking show allows the organizer to earn up to 25% along with free products. A suggested strategy involves offering free products to participants while compensating them with a 10% check, allowing the organizer to retain a 15% profit from the fundraiser.

If someone wants to do a fundraiser that gets less than $600 in orders, they get 10% or up to $60. I would get 15%.
If the same person does a regular cooking show, they would get the free products and I would get up to 25%. I'm a FD w/over 15k.
Why not let them get the free products and I write them a check for 10% (tax deduction) and I still clear the 15% that I would have gotten as a fundraiser.

I agree. I don't care for our fundraisers very much. I also have never had any takers.

there is an extra $3 given for bookings on Fundraisers.. sometimes they are more appealing for organizations as "fundraisers"
