What do you count as a $1,000 show? I know it is your commissionable sales, but what if your host bumps you over the top, do you count that as a $1,000 show?

I have had two shows were my host bumped me over 1,000. I was just wondering what everyone did personally.

To me commissionable is commissionable baby!:D Whether the host bumps me over the $1000 or not, it's still $1000. It's what I'm being paid on, what any promotions that month for me (consultant) are based on and what my director recognizes when she does recognition. So commissionable WITH or WITHOUT! If it gets over $1000 in commissionable it's a KILO show! Congrats :D

I'd have to agree with Jodi!! Commissionable is commissionable!! Congrats on your $1,000 shows!! I'm due for one!! I have a good feeling about my Thursday night show!

Your director will count it as purely commissionable.
That's what matters to me...what my director will give me BLING for!!
LOL

At the end of each year, Directors receive a Annual Report on each consultant. On that report it counts the # of $1k shows each consultant had that year. They only count commissionable sales. So if that's what HO goes by, I think that's what we should go by.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean for a host to bump me over $1,000?

When a host's sales reach over $1,000, it can significantly impact the rewards and benefits available to both the host and the consultant. This typically means that the host qualifies for additional discounts, free products, and exclusive offers that are unlocked at higher sales thresholds.

How does the $1,000 threshold affect my commission?

Reaching the $1,000 threshold can increase your commission percentage on sales. Typically, consultants earn a higher commission rate on sales that exceed this amount, which can enhance your overall earnings from the party.

What is Pampered Chef's policy on host rewards when sales exceed $1,000?

When a host's sales exceed $1,000, they are eligible for additional rewards, including free products and discounts. The specific rewards depend on the total sales amount, and hosts can choose from a variety of products based on their preferences.

Can I still earn my commission if the host bumps over $1,000?

Yes, you can still earn your commission even if the host's sales exceed $1,000. Your commission is calculated based on the total sales amount, and higher sales can lead to increased earnings for you as a consultant.

What should I do if I notice my host's sales are approaching $1,000?

If you notice that your host's sales are approaching $1,000, it's a great opportunity to encourage additional sales. You can suggest upselling products, hosting a last-minute party promotion, or offering incentives to guests to help push the sales over the threshold, maximizing both the host's rewards and your commission.
