I am not going to be vocal much anymore...

That would be great. Feel free to offer to help someone's business (not destroy it) anytime.

What ever happened to Freedom of Speech? I agree this has and is a terrible thing, but jumping down each other's throats and all the accusations is only making things worse. The other Ann only tried to inform us of what Fed Ex does/not only is this forum really hurt now, I"m afraid it may affect PC and what a GREAT company we all have.
If some don't like what they see or it bothers them then they shouldn't read it, not ban it.

Chef Kearns: Basic, public information, doesn't bother me. Anyone can track a packge on fedex.com. What I have an issue with, according to info on other threads, and if you read the letter, it mentions things that would normally be in an employee's file and kept confidential. Unless, of course, some are embellishing what they were told. Hmmm...

I will not be calling HO to verify anything because I don't want anyone doing that to me.

While I find the efforts of ChefGirl repulsive, for whatever her motivation was to volunteer to serve as PC police (even if Darby right or wrong), my issue is with any of us knowing the inner details of any of our businesses because HO told people who called. I AM NOT DISCUSSING ANYTHING ELSE EXCEPT THE FACT THAT IT IS COMPLETELY INAPROPRIATE THAT ANY OF US KNOW ANY INFORMATION ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE'S BUSINESS. I don't understand why others aren't up in arms over this?! How about I start calling HO and ask about your businesses and if everything you've ever said is true or not? Does that bother anyone? It certainly bothers me. Based on the information shared, it appears that I'll be able find out who did what in what month and what problems you've had, and if there are any complaints about you in your "file". Can't wait to post what I find out! Stay tuned! Anyone want to go first?

I have not personally attacked anyone. And, even if this person robbed a bank and we ALL witnessed it, does not mean others have the right to say what they have said.

I understand the OP probably didn't mean to start this all up again, but since this is such a raw issue, and we all know who is involved all the blacking out in the world isn't going to help.

Now, KG, I love you, but don't stoop to their level. Its not worth it. Although, it does show how ridiculous many have been... Oh, to go back to the days before Chefgirl posted her fabulous expose.

Subject: RE: Darby Gates/ChefSuccess

Yes, I am currently aware of the ongoing situation regarding Darby and Chef Success and I have recently finished researching the Web site and all posts relating to it. I am currently discussing the next course of action with my supervisor as I am not sure how involved in this situation the Home Office can get.

Every Consultant on file at the Home Office has a “consent” option. If your “consent” status is “yes”, then you are authorizing us to provide customers and callers with your contact information (phone number, address, e-mail). If the “consent” status is marked as “no”, then we will simply respond to all inquiries with, “We are not authorized to provide you with that information.” If you would like me to change your consent status (temporary or permanent), let me know.

It is unfortunate that you received such a horrible response. It appears as though Darby has created two sides to this whole thing, which is causing it to get uglier day by day. I am glad to see that the moderator has put a stop to it.

Hopefully we can come up with a resolution soon.

Thank you.

I did find out that Darby did make restitution... YEAH!! I hope they take the lies and slandering as seriously as I do. I and several others were threatened over exposing the truth. I EXPOSED THAT THERE WAS A KNOWN CRIMINAL ACTIVITLY SCAMMING CHEFFERS. SHE CALLED HERSELF OUT WITH HER LIES. Read the section above and call Pampered Chef.

Know your facts before you threaten me with anything. And yes, this will be forwarded to Rich and Greg.

Chef Kearns...it probably isn't a big deal. But, if they are giving out that kind of information...and this situation goes a lot farther than when a show was shipped or delivered...what other information are they giving out? I look at the situation this way...sort of...I hope it makes sense.

I own a business and I have 27 employees. I have 2 managers that sit with me and discuss problems...all of the problems, including employee problems. But, if "sarah" the cashier asks me questions about problems I am having with "joe" the cook, I do not give her answers. It is not any of Sarah's business if I am having trouble with Joe...unless it directly involves her...they are working together and he is not pulling his weight. She can tell me "I am concerned that Joe is doing this or not doing that", but then when "susie" asks me what is going on with Joe because Sarah told her this or that and then "jack" wants to know because Susie told him that Sarah told her...and it goes on and on. Whether Joe is having problems or not, it is none of their business. It is between me...the business owner and Joe...the employee.

If I call HO and say that Joe the customer service rep was rude and hateful to me. I expect HO to write down my concerns and say "we are very sorry and we will look into it". I do not expect them to say "Oh, that is the 5th call I've had today about Joe. Sue, Ann, Rebecca, and Hal have all called today to complain about him. I guess I will fire him". It is none of my business how many people have called, or what they are going to do to Joe. That is a disciplinary action that is between HO and Joe.

Privacy....that is my issue. I don't find HO to be acting in a professional manner when they discuss consultants with other consultants.

Hey, Liz! I agree with the freedom of speech, but you have the right to it until it fringes upon the rights of another. (ie you can't yell "Fire!" in a crowded movie theater because of the dangerous situation it creates for other.) I know all about this, working in broadcasting. In that thread, Darby was called, a liar, a thief, a dishonest person, a wacko, a scam artist and other things... that's not freedom of speech, that's defamation and its wrong. Normally, I love the different opions for objects, or my business... but not like this. Not others. I think in the interest of letting things go, the threads should be deleted, normally I would want a thread to stay around. That way, we can all move on. I guess I am just upset because this can happen to any one of us and it scares me. I know its the internet, but someone can post something about one of us and it will be taken as gospel.

This type of comment and treatment of Elaine makes YOU no better than those you are criticizing.
