I know I must be missing this, so please forgive me and some kind person help me! :D

I had an online order just come in as an outside order on a show. I brought it into P3 and when I went to click on "Add to Contact List" a little window came up saying that this person already exists in my list. So, how do I merge the info?

There is an option at the top of the screen. Its PWS Synronizaton, two arrows going in different directions.

Oh, that will do it? Okay, so do I need to add the new contact first--thus creating 2 of the same, then do the synch and it will merge them?

I am not sure... try to go through it and see what it says. I haven't had the time to really go through it properly.

One of the options, under "Tools" I think, is to clean up duplicate contacts. I'm not at home so I don't have P3 in front of me. Once you pull up the form, there will be options for how to search for the contact (same name, same address, same email etc.) Then you'll choose the people you want to merge, and it'll give you a screen where you choose which contact info you want to use.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I merge my online order information with my contact list in Pampered Chef?

To merge your online order information with your contact list, first, export your online orders from your Pampered Chef account. Then, use a spreadsheet program to combine this data with your existing contact list. Ensure that you match the relevant fields, such as names and email addresses, to create a unified list.

What should I do if there are duplicate entries after merging my lists?

If you find duplicate entries after merging your lists, you can use the 'Remove Duplicates' feature in your spreadsheet program. Highlight the relevant columns and apply this feature to clean up your list. Make sure to review the entries to ensure no important information is lost.

Can I automate the merging process for future orders?

While there isn’t a built-in automation feature in Pampered Chef for merging orders and contacts, you can use third-party tools like Zapier to automate data transfer between your online orders and your contact list. This requires some setup but can save you time in the long run.

What if my online orders do not match my contact list?

If your online orders do not match your contact list, check for discrepancies in names, email addresses, or phone numbers. You may need to manually update your contact list to ensure consistency. Additionally, consider reaching out to customers for confirmation of their details.

Is there a way to keep my contact list updated automatically?

To keep your contact list updated automatically, consider using a customer relationship management (CRM) tool that integrates with your Pampered Chef account. This can help you manage and update your contacts based on new orders and customer interactions without manual entry.
