Last night I found a great thread on the Everything Book- and now I cannot find it! Does anyone know where this is? I thought that it was a GREAT idea and I wanted to use the idea :) Thanks in advance!

Using the Search option at the bar across the top of the screen, enter "everything book" and lots of threads come up.

The search on the site sucks. I'm sorry, but it does. Go to Google and search "everything book site:chefsuccess.com" to get better results.

I'm not sure what your talking about it, but would love to know!
So if you find it, be sure to post it :]

actually, no matter how I search, I can find plenty of threads and posts that have the word everything or the word book, but I can't find anything outside this thread that has this exact phrase.....--whether I put quotes around it or not, search google, search files, search bing, search altavista.....okay, I became obsessed. sorry....if anyone finds it, I am now dying of curiosity, please share.

ok, sorry if the last post sounded frustrated. I went away and scrubbed the floor. I feel better now.
clearly I'm fascinated...KC, was it a big binder someone had all their records in, or was it a huge reference?

OK I found it! Here is the thread
http://www.chefsuccess.com/f12/organizing-your-business-2113/
If it doesn't work, in the search, type in Organizing Your office...
I just thought that it was great idea because my office is organized, but lets face it! I am never home and need to make calls when I am out and about but never have everything I need to do it in! Let me know if this works for anyone else! I am excited to see if it will work
:) Thanks everyone!

you rock, KCPC--thanks for sharing!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if I feel like I've lost my great book idea?

First, take a step back and give yourself some time to reflect. Sometimes, ideas can feel elusive, but they often resurface when you least expect them. Consider journaling your thoughts or brainstorming new concepts related to your original idea. Engaging in creative activities or discussions with friends can also help spark inspiration.

How can I find new inspiration for my book idea?

Inspiration can come from various sources. Read widely in your genre, explore different media like films or podcasts, or even take a walk in nature. Attending workshops, joining writing groups, or participating in online forums can also expose you to new perspectives and ideas. Don't hesitate to draw from personal experiences or current events as potential storylines.

Is it normal to feel stuck when writing a book?

Absolutely! Many writers experience periods of feeling stuck or uninspired. It's a common part of the creative process. Acknowledging this feeling is the first step. Try setting small, achievable writing goals or changing your writing environment to reignite your creativity. Remember, persistence is key, and allowing yourself to write freely without judgment can help you move past these blocks.

Should I abandon my original idea if I can't seem to develop it?

Not necessarily. Sometimes, ideas need time to mature. If you feel strongly about your original concept, consider revisiting it after some time. However, if you find that you're consistently struggling with it, it might be beneficial to explore new ideas. It's okay to pivot and allow yourself the freedom to create something different that excites you.

How can I stay motivated while trying to rediscover my book idea?

Staying motivated can be challenging, but setting a routine can help. Establish a dedicated writing time each day, even if it's just for a short period. Celebrate small milestones and progress, and connect with other writers for support and encouragement. Remember to be kind to yourself during this process; creativity often ebbs and flows, and that's perfectly normal.
