Get Inspired: Wizard of Oz Cake Ideas for Your Child's Birthday Celebration

In summary, there are many different ways to celebrate a birthday, but some people prefer using cake recipes or cake designs that they have seen before. Anyone have ever made a wizard of oz cake before?

Has anyone every done a wizard of oz cake before? We are celebrating DD B-day on Sat and the lady who usually makes my cakes is having a shower for her daughter that day. I thought that maybe some of you have done something with our tools (or not) that I could use.

Any ideas would be appreciated

Tricia

That cake of Dorothy with the legs is sort of freaky looking! :) LOL

I agree Kacey. I don't really like any of them, but maybe it's a starting point...

I liked the first one, but I personally think you or Carolyn could whip up something a lot snazzier!

Not half as creepy as those adult Dorothy and Lion costumes over on the right side. Those look like props out of a porno flick.

Not that I'd know what props in a porno flick look like.

That's your second post that has something related to a porno costume or a porno title...got nookie on the brain KG?:blushing:

If you can find a good photo, you can take it to your local grocery store and see if they can make an edible image of it. Then you just apply it to the cake.

You're not paying attention, because in 10,500 posts, there are far more than two.

Why? (Wrong, Ann.) It's a funny word that's fun to say - like "ointment" or "Albuquerque." And it usually has a punchline automatically attached to it.
