Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have some ideas on Sunday School games for K-1st grade?

I am running out of ideas and still have 1/2 the year to go.

Thanks for any advice!

have you searched the internet? I get a lot of good Sunday School and children's church ideas from the internet. I have a memory block at the moment and can't think of one site I use. I will let you know...LOL

Yes, I have. I have found some good ideas. I actually found one for tomorrow. Just thought I might get some other ideas from you Cheffers.

Thanks!

when i get to work on tuesday i will look in my favs. I have a webpage there that I need to put on my laptop too. It is a great sight for younger kids ideas. It has stories along with coloring sheets, games and even food ideas to go with the story. I use it for children's church all of the time. I teach once a month.

Check out the Family Time site. If you click on the link in my signature for my blog, I have a link in the right column for favorite sites.

They have a book for great "family time" activities but are great for S.S. too...they are all interactive and sometimes like science projects.

Are you looking for games or a class activity...games at a table or games like in AWANA?

Thank you Jennifer and Janet. I book marked Family Time. It looks like a great site. Thanks again!!

My 1st grade SS class always enjoyed Bible bingo. I printed the cards from dtlk website (they also have a lot of coloring pages) and we would play to take up time when we finished early. Each square has a religious picture so no reading is required. They also liked racing to find whatever book of the Bible I would call out. They should play in teams if you do this one because at that age they get frustrated easily if they never win.

Good luck!
