Fountainebleau Reviews on Tripadvisor. Yikes!

Click For Summary
Recent reviews for the Fountainebleau hotel indicate significant dissatisfaction, with complaints about rude staff and high costs for amenities like parking, internet, and gym access. Despite these negative reviews, some guests share positive past experiences, emphasizing good service and enjoyable accommodations during previous stays. There is a general skepticism about the reliability of reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor, with suggestions that many negative comments may stem from overly critical guests. Travelers express a desire to confirm firsthand experiences from friends who have stayed there recently. Discussions also include planning activities for families and the social dynamics of upcoming trips, with participants considering lodging arrangements and potential group gatherings. Overall, there is an air of uncertainty mixed with optimism about the trip, as travelers aim to make the best of their experiences despite the concerning reviews.

I was just looking around and, wow, 4 out of the 5 most recent reviews are TERRIBLE. It sounds like they do NOT have their act together and are very rude. I sure hope, if they do have issues, they have them worked out by April. Wow!

Do any of you have any personal experience for the Fountainebleau?

Also, anyone have activity suggestions for me and my 11-year-old son?

Thanks!

How ironic Debi. I had just checked out tripadvisor and was coming to post as well. The most recent reviews are universally horrible. My biggest concerns are the price gouging (everything costs, including parking, internet, gym, etc) and the comments about rude/arrogant staff.

I know Morfia stayed there recently, and she had rave comments. I'm really torn.

Man, it would really suck if it sucks! LOL! I have a friend who lives down there. I need to ask her about it's rep. I know TripAdvisor is one of your frequent resources so I was thinking of you as I read it. LOL.Let me know anything else you find out.Morfia, we need you to give us a warm fuzzy about it!

You have to pay for wi/fi and the gym? Crazy?!

I called earlier today to check on parking rates since I'll be driving - $32 a day ....I hope they detail my car and fill it with gas while it's there...

I haven't been there since I was too young to drink.....we could always get in there ;) (prom night, that was THE place to go! That was back in 1978.....I'm sure things have changed just a tad :D

WOW! I just read those reviews - I sure hope they were all by the same person who is just a PO'd Sourpus! I'm sure we'll have a fab time - how could we not?

I read them eek! I had just done that for Mexico, and seriously trip advisor can become an addiction!! Anyhoo, Morfia had nothing but GLOWING comments about it and she went in December (I think) so hopefully if there was an issue, it is fixed. I am sure that Traveling with PC you will have no problems.
Debi, I love that picture of you :)

Thanks Cheryl!! That was my pink hair mode when I was getting ready to leave Germany. LOL!

Well, I trust Morfia more than people I don't know! And I've heard these things can be bogus. And I can't imagine PC sending us somewhere jacked up!

(And Cheryl, thanks for the hook up that night in the bar. LOL! I needed it!)
