I have two food choppers. One I use at home, one in my kit. The one at home, the clear collar is snapped were it locks into place so it no longer stays there. The one in my kit is starting to do the same thing. My question is, should I pay to ship the whole thing back since they are both under warranty and get a whole new chopper or just get a replacement part for the clear collar? I'm weighing more towards just getting the replacement part but for the price of the collar, I could have a brand new chopper

I would send them back since they are both under warranty. It won't cost that much to send them in. Make sure you call and tell them that you need them for your shows so they will send you the new one before you mail in the old one.

email the solution center. They sent my new one straight away. was worth the $5 to ship the old one back to get a brand new one.

That's what I thought. I'll call them tonight!

I just had the exact same thing happen to my chopper. I put in for an adjustment and they sent me an email stating that I had to return the old one and then they would ship the new one. Well, I had decided that I would just wait until after my next show coming up to send in the old one and the next day the delivery guy was handing me my new chopper. Couldn't believe it! Now I have to run out to the Post office to send out the old one.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I consider when deciding to repair or replace my Pampered Chef Food Chopper?

When deciding whether to repair or replace your Pampered Chef Food Chopper, consider the extent of the damage, the cost of repair versus replacement, and whether the product is still under warranty. If the chopper has minor issues and is still functional, a repair may be more economical. However, if the damage is significant or the product is old, replacement might be the better option.

How can I determine if my Food Chopper is still under warranty?

To determine if your Food Chopper is still under warranty, check the warranty information that came with your product or visit the Pampered Chef website for warranty details. Typically, Pampered Chef offers a limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship for a specific period, usually one year from the date of purchase.

What types of damages are covered under the Pampered Chef warranty?

The Pampered Chef warranty generally covers defects in materials and workmanship. This includes issues such as broken parts or malfunctioning components that occur during normal use. However, damages resulting from misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear are typically not covered.

How do I go about getting a replacement for my Food Chopper?

If you need a replacement for your Food Chopper, first check if it is still under warranty. If it is, contact Pampered Chef customer service with your proof of purchase and details about the issue. They will guide you through the replacement process. If the warranty has expired, you can purchase a new Food Chopper directly from the Pampered Chef website or through a consultant.

Can I repair my Food Chopper myself, or should I seek professional help?

Whether you can repair your Food Chopper yourself depends on the nature of the problem. Minor issues, such as replacing a blade or tightening screws, can often be handled at home. However, for more complex repairs or if you are unsure, it is advisable to seek professional help or contact Pampered Chef customer service for guidance.
