It was given to dh and I from someone he used to work with. It is an HP all in one D series. HUGE thing!! Anyway I looked up prices for cartridges, and it came up with cartridges and cartridge heads. Everytime I replace a cartridge do I have to replace a cartridge head? I have never had one that has a cartridge head, we have always had cheap HPs or lexmarks.
Thanks!

No, you do not have to replace the cartridge head when replacing a cartridge. Depending on the printer model and type of cartridge, some printers may need only the cartridge replaced, while others might require both a cartridge and a cartridge head. Your best bet would be to consult your printer manual to find out exactly what is needed for your particular model.

No, you do not need to replace the cartridge head every time you replace a cartridge. The cartridge head is a separate component that is responsible for transferring ink onto the paper. It is usually built into the printer itself and does not need to be replaced unless it becomes damaged or clogged. The cartridge head should last for multiple cartridge replacements, as long as it is properly maintained.
