Do Commissions Get Backpaid for Higher Payments?

In summary, backpay for higher payments is the additional commission received by independent consultants for sales made during a period when commission rates were increased. Eligibility for backpay is determined by being an active consultant during the increased rate period, and backpay will be included in the commission check for the corresponding month. It cannot be paid separately and there is no limit to the amount of backpay that can be received.

Hi... when you get your first commission of the month at a certain level, and then your second commission is at a higher level, do they make up the dfference from the first payment? Do they back pay you on the first commision of the month? THANKS :D

Yes - when you get paid on the 22nd, it's for the shows submitted the 1st through the 15th of the month. When you get paid on the 8th, it's for the rest of the month's submitted shows, plus all over-rides and bonuses. This one is retroactive for all commission earned, so if your commission bumps from 22% to 26%, you will get paid the extra 4% on any commission already paid earlier in the month.

Sweet! TY Becky :)

1. What is backpay for higher payments?

Backpay for higher payments refers to the additional commission that an independent consultant may receive for sales made during a time frame when commission rates were increased.

2. How do I know if I am eligible for backpay?

If you were an active consultant during the time when the commission rates were increased, you are eligible for backpay. This includes any orders placed during that time period, even if they were submitted after the increase went into effect.

3. When will the backpay be received?

The backpay will be automatically calculated and added to your commission check for the month in which the increase went into effect. For example, if the increase went into effect in July, the backpay will be included in your August commission check.

4. Can I request for backpay to be paid separately?

No, the backpay will be automatically calculated and included in your commission check for the corresponding month. It cannot be paid separately.

5. Is there a limit to how much backpay I can receive?

No, there is no limit to the amount of backpay you can receive. It will be calculated based on the sales you made during the time when the commission rates were increased.
