I had not heard that. Too bad! One of their big selling points was that everything - including the nails - were made in America. Sad, very sad.chefann said:I was to something similar, but not as extensive about a year ago. It was hosted by my LB lady and some other consultants - sort of an all-LB vendor fair. They had some of their food items prepared, and lots of displays, and one basket maker from their HO doing demos.
They've hit some rough patches lately - had to move a bunch of their manufacturing overseas to stay competitive, and then lost some customers because of it. The company that wove many of their textiles also had problems, and they had to find another supplier for those items.
Edited to add: I can't find the Med Chore Basket online currently, but GV admission is $20, and the basket looks like it would be more than $60. So the cost of the day is reasonable for what it includes.

Those who groan loudest at puns (or complain about them here) are just jealous they didn't think of it first, or if they did think of it, say/post it first.
