The recent trip to London was a memorable experience filled with various activities and sightseeing. Participants enjoyed a performance of "Wicked" and visited significant literary sites like Jane Austen's home and C.S. Lewis's residence in Oxford. They explored Hyde Park, walked extensively, and experienced cultural highlights such as the changing of the guard and a dinner cruise on the Thames. The trip also featured opportunities to socialize with fellow attendees and enjoy meals together, including breakfast with notable individuals from the Pampered Chef community. Overall, the trip fostered a sense of camaraderie and excitement for future travels, particularly to Paris. Photos from the trip are expected to be shared soon.

I know Kris aka Leggy was there. Anyone else?

Tell us all about it!

I was there, with my daughter, we had such a good time. We went and saw Wicked (a bunch of other PC'ers went too), we went to Bath to see the home of her heroine, Jane Austen, we did a tour of Oxford to see where CS Lewis lived and taught, we walked a total of 8 miles the last day to thoroughly see Hyde Park and a special statue she wanted to see, we went to Harrods, saw the changing of the guard (with play by play action provided by this adorable little old man about 75, but we couldn't understand a word he said, LOL, and of course the farewell dinner was amazing (one of the guards playing the trombone sat down at our table and ate some of the food, too funny). Every day we managed to have one of the HO people sit at our table for breakfast, my daughter met Doris for the second time, ummmm---we had a ball. Just me and my 22 year old daughter.

The London trip was absolutely fabulous. We had an amazing time....both DH and I have totally caught the PC-trip 'bug'. (All week he has been 'in my business'...he wants Paris now as much as I do!)

We've both been to England several times before, so we stayed in the city the whole time and just played. We visited the Imperial War Museum, St Paul's, Westminister Cathedral (the Catholic Church, not the Abbey). We saw productions of both Chicago and Wicked (wow!). Mostly, we walked....and walked...and walked!

We had breakfast with 'ChefLoriG' several times (her husband has a great sense of humor!) and we met 'ElaineBallard' at the gala.

Below are some pictures from the Level Four dinner our last night. We cruised up the Thames to the Old Naval College (old as in, when Britain ruled the seas!). The hall was stunning. The Pampered Chef definitely pulled out all the stops on this one! (Hope I can figure how to load these pictures right!)
