Do not know if this is something you would do but these two recipes have been big hits for me.
Greek cheese Dip
2 pkgs, 8 oz, cream cheese softened
1 pkg, 8 ounces, feta cheese
1 container, 8 ounces, sour cream
4 tablespoons Greek Rub
8 ounces fresh spinachClean and dry to Spinach in the Salad Spinner. In Classic Batter Bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Add the spinach and mix thoroughly. Allow to stand in refrigerator for at least an hour. To serve, place dip into the Medium or Large Bamboo Bowl and place on corner of the Large Bamboo Platter. Surround it with your favorite crackers and a spreader. I use this one as a second, bring along recipe. Pumpkin Bread Pudding - an older recipe from the Use & Care Card of the Oval Baker
1 16 ounce package Raisin Bread cute into 1" cubes
1 15 ounce can Pumpkin without spices
1 12 ounce can EVAPORATED milk - not sweetened condensed
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons Cinnamon Plus Spice BlendPreheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease baker with floured spray or 1 tablespoon soft butter or margarine.
In Small Batter Bowl heat evaporated milk for 3 minutes on high in microwave.
In Classic Batter Bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except the bread, using Stainless Whisk.
Add hot milk slowly to pumpkin mixture. Combine well.
Layer half the bread and half the pumpkin mixture into Baker. Repeat. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until a knife inserted into center and pulled back reveals almost no loose mixture. Allow to stand 15 minutes before serving.
Optional: Chopped pecans, candied pecans, vanilla frozen yogurt, vanilla ice cream or even cinnamon ice cream, caramel ice cream topping, Sweet Caramel, Cinnamon or Vanilla Sprinkles right after it comes out of the oven, melted vanilla ice cream to make a mock creme en glase, Or anything else you can think of! (1 cup raisins or dried Cranberries and regular bread can be substituted too!)
You can also bake it in the Deep Covered Baker. It can also be microwaved but only in the Deep Covered Baker for about 15 minutes. To double the recipe, make it in the Rectangular Baker and still check for doneness at 25 minutes.
