Do lots of people coordinate their outfits to match the days at NC? What is the "dress code" for conference, anyway... business casual or just decent casual? And how much walking are we going to be doing? I guess I should actually read the information on CC, but it is much easier to post a question here when I think of it!!!
Another question - do we have someone who is collecting cell #s for Wave 1?

Officially, dress is business casual, but most people wear capris/sundresses. Neither of which, in my mind, are business casual. There are some people who wear pink on day 2, since that's the special breakfast for HWC/RUFTH. There is a LOT of walking - we're usually on both ends of the convention center. You'll see more casual clothes on day 3, as many people leave straight from McCormick Center to the airport/train station, etc. Well, other than new Directors - they tend to dress way up on Day 3 since that's when the new Director walk is.I haven't seen someone collecting cell numbers for Wave 1. Looks like you just volunteered.

Oh my, I just saw the Anne's post of meeting on Sunday. I believe my flight gets in around 9:45 so I hope some of you will still be around by the time I finally get to the hotel.

Daniell, I love your "Don't Hit Kids." sign. I am/was a substitute teacher in a vary large school district with lots of scary kids who I would never think of hitting, though I thought one was going to hit me... There were some nice kids, too. Banquets are not based on NED, they are based on Executive Directors. However, if there is no Executive Director or Senior Executive Director between you and your NED, then you will attend your NED's banquet.

Hey, ya learn something new everyday! I don't think there is an ED or SED... I think my upline is a first line for my NED, but I'm not sure... maybe I should ask...

and you'll get a little "ticket" in your conference pack that identifies which banquet you'll be in anyway.

Just think, this time next month, Wave 2 will just be starting - oh wait, that means our Wave will be done and we'll be back home... that is depressing... never mind, don't think about it!

BTW... Danielle/Ann... I did check with my director and we are in Becky's banquet. Which one are you guys in?

I'm going to be at Randy Weiss's. We're supposed to bring our favorite apron for the banquet. Kinda silly, but it's at least something (no theme or anything for the last 2 years).
