Directors who''ve promoted or re-promoted since January 2007 (and have not previously attended an Academy) can register at Consultant''s Corner > Consultant and Leadership Training > Director Training > New Director Academy, and click on "Register."
Registration is FREE so all you have to do is get yourself to Chicago to enjoy two days of valuable training and networking. We''ll provide ground transportation from O''Hare or Midway airports, one-night hotel accommodations (double occupancy) and three meals (dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday).

New Tele-class Number to go into Effect on August 1
Beginning August 1, a new toll-free Tele-class number will go into effect.
The new number for attendees will be 1-800-793-5543. Press ''1'' for English and ''2'' for Spanish, and proceed by entering the access codes as follows:
English — 0123321
Spanish — 0139486
Tele-class leaders: The Home Office will send you the new toll-free leader number.
2009 Wall Calendars ...
The 2009 calendars available through Merrill were a huge success at National Conference. So much so, that they have sold through their entire inventory. But please don''t worry because the calendars are available on the Merrill Web site and will begin shipping on August 11. To order, visit Consultant''s Corner > Managing Your Business > Merrill.
An Important Message From the Solution Center ...
Due to changes in the standards for processing credit card payments, effective August 1, the following changes will take place:
• Once an order is transmitted and payments have been received, all payments on the order become final. The Pampered Chef® will no longer be able to switch payments from one type to another. Please ensure you have collected and entered the proper payment information before transmitting the order.
• All credit card numbers will be masked and the complete number will no longer be accessible in our systems, just as it is no longer displayed on your Pampered Partner® reports. Therefore, it will be necessary for our representatives to request the complete card number each time a refund or payment is needed. This is done for the protection of you and your customers.

From the Test Kitchen ...
To make Cookie Pillows, featured at National Conference in the Product Showcase Room at the Bakeware Table, preheat oven to 375° F. Slice refrigerated cookie dough into 20 slices. Spoon 1/4 teaspoon of your favorite fruit preserves (raspberry, strawberry, etc.) or chocolate hazelnut spread into center of 10 cookies. Top with remaining cookies. Press down slightly on edges and trim into rectangle using Pastry Cutter fitted with crimping blade. Bake for 16-18 minutes and cool according to cookie dough package directions.
