Help! I have a catalog show and the host is using my website to send out the invites / information. When she selects the person and select E-Invitations, it says "join us for a catty show....." then

Please RSVP by clicking on one of the following links:

with a button for I will attend and a button for I will not attend.

How do you get that off? Why would someone need to RSVP to a catalog show?

Thx,
Jenifer

I think it's just a quirk that HO hasn't fixed yet. It really should be "I will order," etc. Send a note to HO. They may not think it's a priority to fix, but if they get a lot of notes about it, they'll add it to the "to do" list.

Wow, never noticed that one! I sure hope they fix it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Catalog Show and how does it work?

A Catalog Show is a type of direct sales event where a consultant showcases products through a catalog rather than a live demonstration. Guests can browse the catalog, place orders, and often enjoy special promotions. The consultant collects orders and provides customer service, making it a convenient option for those who cannot attend in-person events.

Why should I ask for RSVPs on the invitation for a Catalog Show?

Asking for RSVPs helps you gauge interest and plan accordingly. It allows you to prepare the right amount of catalogs, samples, or promotional materials and ensures you can follow up with attendees to maximize sales opportunities. Additionally, knowing who will attend can help you personalize your approach and enhance the overall experience.

How should I word the RSVP request on the invitation?

You can keep it simple and clear. For example, you might say, "Please RSVP by [date] to let me know if you can attend the Catalog Show. Your response helps me prepare for a fun and informative event!" This encourages guests to respond and highlights the importance of their participation.

What if someone doesn't RSVP but still wants to participate?

If someone expresses interest in attending after the RSVP deadline, you can still welcome them to participate. It's always good to be flexible and accommodating. Just ensure you have enough materials and products available for everyone, regardless of their RSVP status.

How can I follow up with guests who RSVP'd for the Catalog Show?

Following up is crucial for maintaining engagement. You can send a reminder message a few days before the event, thanking them for their RSVP and providing any additional details they might need. After the show, follow up with a thank-you note and a summary of the products discussed, encouraging them to place orders if they haven't already.
