I met a former consultant at a fundraiser show recently and she is looking for a recipe she said she thought came with a product use & care card. The name of the recipe is Baked Ziti & Sausage and she thinks it was from a card that came with a piece of stoneware. I can't seem to locate the recipe, so wanted to see if any of you were familiar with it.

Thanks so much.

I've had this before and it's really, really good!!! I'll have to see if I can find the recipe.

Thanks Andrea -- hope you can find it !!

I'm pretty sure it's "It's Good for You .." Let me check tonight ...

Ok, so it's taken me like FOREVER to post it, but here it is:

1 lb. ziti
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 lg. yellow onion, chopped
3/4 tsp. Kosher salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 24-26 oz. jars pasta sauce
1 15 oz. cont. lowfat ricotta
1 10 oz. box frozen spinach, thawed and drained
1 lb. ground beef or Italian Sausage (prefer the sausage)
3 cloves garlic
1 1/2 tbsp. dried oregano
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese, divided
2 c. shredded Mozzarella

Preheat oven to 400. Cook the ziti according to the package directions. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion, salt and pepper and cook for 5 minutes. Add the sausage and cook, crumbling it with the Mix 'N Chop, until no trace of pink remains, about 7 minutes. Spoon off and discard any excess fat. Add the garlic and the oregano and cook for 2 minutes. Add the pasta sauce and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Add the drained ziti to the pot and toss. Add the ricotta, spinach and 1/4 cup of the Parmesan and toss again. Spread the mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Sprinkle with the Mozzarella nd the remaining Parmesan. Bake until the Mozzarella melts, about 15 minutes.

This was really fabulous and I hope you enjoy it!! And again, sorry it took so long to post it (I kept forgetting).
