That's my new motto...BRING IT ON!
DH left for Iraq on Sunday. We miss him terribly, but he has "landed" in country and is getting settled in. Hope to talk with him tonight or tomorrow.
Now for the fun stuff...
Sunday afternoon, my 2 1/2 year old had the stomach bug, which my mom then got on Monday...which triggered her Lupus, so we spent 6 hours in the ER on Tuesday getting her morphine, steroids, and various insundrious (sp?) other medications to bring her out of it.
A friend of mine (who has watched the kiddos before without incident) watched the three girls yesterday. And, unbeknownst to me, had my 2 1/2 year old on her trampoline, unsupervised, with two 9 year old boys. Needless to say, things did not turn out well...
After almost 5 hours at the doctor today, she now has a cast from her thigh to her foot on her right leg. She didn't necessarily break anything, but she separated her growth plate in her foot, and it has to be imbolized for three weeks.
Ugh! To top it all off, I had the stomach bug last night, while trying to deal with a little girl in a lot of pain.
So, to all of this, I say...
There ain't nothing we can't handle, and now mom is staying a little bit longer...YEAH!
Thanks for putting up with me, and for your continued prayers and thoughts!
