Research for any disease, cancer, or just illness in general helps so many. I am an example of that. I have Systemic Lupus Nephritis. My Lupus has been active for 34 yrs but has been in symtomatic remission for the last 11 years. February 1st I found out I am now out of remission and having a flare up. Because of ALL the various researches that have been, and are being done, the new technics and medications that have been developed through these studies, my prognosis is excellent. In 1972 my folks were told I probably wouldn't live to be 18 and to keep me comfortable! I just turned 46 on December 28th!Research and donations made that possible.
Some of you are probably thinking - woa , to much information!I'm not sharing this for personal attention or "poor you's". I just want everyone to realize how important it is to keep the funds coming in so others can benefit too.
I ALSO want to give my personal thanks to ALL who are helping to raise awareness and funds for any illness.

Relay For Life is a community-based fundraising event for the American Cancer Society, where participants raise funds to fight cancer. Pampered Chef fundraisers can benefit Relay For Life by donating a portion of sales to the cause, helping to support cancer research, patient services, and advocacy efforts.
To identify potential hosts, consider reaching out to friends, family, and acquaintances who have been affected by cancer or are passionate about the cause. Additionally, connect with local cancer support groups, schools, or community organizations that may be interested in hosting a fundraiser.
Effective promotion methods include creating engaging social media posts, sending out email invitations, and utilizing flyers or posters in community centers. Highlight the cause, share personal stories, and emphasize the impact of the funds raised to encourage participation.
Incentives can include offering free or discounted products for hosts, providing exclusive recipes or cooking tips, or entering hosts into a raffle for a larger prize. Additionally, emphasize the satisfaction of contributing to a meaningful cause and the opportunity to gather friends for a fun event.
To ensure success, set clear goals for the fundraiser, communicate regularly with the host, and provide them with all necessary materials and support. Encourage them to invite a diverse group of attendees and create an engaging atmosphere during the event, such as live cooking demonstrations or interactive games.
