So we started back to Pre-k today. I have a total of 14 kids (8 on MWF, and 6 on T,Th). We've gotten pretty high-tech like the rest of the world with most parents preferring to email me rather than call with a question (and same for me sometimes!). Today was open house. They wanted my info - so I handed them all my business cards (some asked for 2 or 3 - for mom, dad, grandma etc....)

They loved having those to put right in their wallets - and a most laughed and said they had no idea I did PC too! ......and I booked a show for October! (me bad!) :D

You are so bad!!!! Right on!!! :)

Yes bad, but working the business! HA!

Oh, you are so good! Way to go.

Cindy~

You are so bad...you are good!

I would have done the same thing....they needed your info, you gave it to them!! :D

Oh and a couple said "You have a website???" !!!

Good for you Cindy! So sneaky........awsome, I hope they all order!!! Good Luck;)

Not bad at all. Whenever I have an opportunity to spread the news of my business, I do. My first day back to school with 4th graders today. I sent home my weekly newsletter. I introduced myself, education, family, outside activities, etc. and of course I mentioned I was a Future Director with The Pampered Chef.I'm always the first student of the week, with my decorated poster. My picture of myself? Well, my friends and myself at National Conference of course. Julie

Heehee!! Thats awesome! I think you better pat yourself on the back for that one LOL....

Angela,LOL- I DID reading your comment. I just wish I'd thought about attaching my business card like Cindy, but hey I can do that with my Christmas cards. Yes I said Christmas. It's not holiday or winter, it's Christmas!!! and yes I still put a live Christmas tree in my room, yes I put an angel on it, and yes I play Christmas music in my classroom. Wooh, sorry I don't know where that came from. I think I had a Realllllly long day today. My brain gets slushy after spending a day with 27 nine year olds.Julie

Ooh, you're so awful! :)

Brilliant!!! Simply Brilliant!!

   Oh no no no....you not bad...you gooooooooood!!!   ;)

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some tips for managing a group of 14 kids on the first day of Pre-K?

Managing a large group of kids can be challenging, but establishing clear routines and expectations is key. Start with simple activities that encourage participation, such as circle time or group games. Use visual aids and songs to keep their attention, and always have a backup activity ready in case they lose interest. Consistent communication and positive reinforcement will help maintain order and engagement.

How can I incorporate Pampered Chef products into my Pre-K classroom?

Pampered Chef products can be a fun way to introduce cooking and healthy eating to young children. Consider using kid-friendly kitchen tools for simple cooking demonstrations or snack preparations. You can also use their products to create themed activities, such as making fruit kabobs or mini pizzas, which can enhance fine motor skills and promote teamwork among the kids.

What strategies can I use to book a Pampered Chef show in October?

To book a show, start by reaching out to your existing network, including parents and friends. Share your excitement about the upcoming fall season and suggest hosting a fun cooking event. Offer incentives, such as a small gift or discount on Pampered Chef products for hosts. Utilize social media to promote your shows and consider creating a themed event that aligns with Halloween or fall festivities to attract more interest.

How can I balance my responsibilities as a Pre-K teacher and a Pampered Chef consultant?

Balancing both roles requires effective time management and organization. Set specific times during the week dedicated to your Pampered Chef business, such as evenings or weekends. Use a planner to keep track of your teaching responsibilities and business commitments. Prioritize tasks and delegate when possible, and remember to set aside time for self-care to avoid burnout.

What are some engaging activities for kids that can also promote Pampered Chef products?

Engaging activities could include cooking classes where kids can help prepare simple recipes using Pampered Chef tools. You can also organize a "mini chef" day where kids can decorate aprons or chef hats. Storytime sessions featuring books about food and cooking can spark interest, and you can incorporate product demonstrations that showcase how easy it is to cook healthy meals with the right tools.
