Well, Charlene...
Your post prompted me to send out an email to everyone on my customer connections list (about 2000 people). Within a few hours of sendnig it out, I got an emai lfrom the mother of a host from August of 2006...the mother wants to book a show!! I called her and we set a date and I did my early host coaching.

Then, an email from a customer who was having a hard time accessing the outlet - I redirected her and hope to wake up to an order from her tomorrow morning...

Thanks Charlene...for giving me just the nudge I needed!!

I also wanted to thank you for this post. I am going to send out emails about it tomorrow but it prompted me to check out the outlet so I just ordered a few of the mini fluted pan. I haven't checked it since that was added.

FYI-2 pans with shipping and taxes total about $35.50. Regular price for 1 was $33. Its a deal.
 
Awww.... crud. I JUST sent out my email newsletter yesterday and I completely forgot to put something in it about the outlet. (On an upside, I just signed up for Constant Contact, and I can see that at least 1 person has clicked through to my PWS from the note.)

Constant Contact is a service for sending email newsletters and things. They have great tracking tools so you can see how many bounced (undeliverable), how many people opened it, how many clicks to links, etc. You don't have to worry about sending emails in groups of 10, like if you sent your newsletter from your own email program. They have a 60-day free trial (www.constantcontact.com). And they have LOTS of great templates. :)

Outlet orders can NOT be added to shows. They are separate and can only be ordered online through consultants' websites.

outlet salethanks here too...I sent out an email from my PWS today around 10am...came home this afternoon and already had an order (on line activity)
for 2 mini fluted stones, 2 cranberry crocks, and 2 cranberry and knife board combo...I know she ordered because of my PWS email I sent out...lets hope for more tomorrow..yipppee

Individual orders can be combined with outlet orders but not on a show.

I like to use mine for banana bread, then freeze some of the loaves for later when I don't feel like baking but want something good. a double batch of banana bread recipe works perfectly. And yes that is a great price.
 
I just had a thought (I know! Scary!:eek: ) Do we actually earn commission on Outlet sales? Esp one like the mini fluted that is marked down so much? I would try to look that up but I am at work.

Lisa, if you have a PWS, there's an area on there for staying in contact with your customers. It's called Customer Connection. Once you select the contacts from your list you want to include on the mailing, you can select the email template you want to send.
