It just goes to show you how Host coaching is worth it. A few weeks ago I did a show for a very nice lady, 4 ppl showed and they were all her family. Noone else did. When I left that night the orders hadn't even hit the $150 minimum. I coached before and after coached even more. I let her keep the show open for 1 1/2 weeks to pull in more orders and kept on coaching. Well, we finally closed the show last night and she'd hit the $500 average and then some!
YAY
With those few orders we got at the show that is pretty good I'd say! Especially when you consider that most of her friends didn't have a whole lot of money to spend.

I'm happy, she's happy...we're all happy.

good job!! I guess host coaching really does work!!

I have a show for tomorrow night that as of Monday, only had 4 yes responses. "Encouraged" the host to be excited about her show and make her calls on Tuesday. As of 9:30 last night, there are 11 yesses so far...quite an improvement in 24 hours!

Yes it is janet! That's the *main* thing I encourage is the follow up calls. They really do work!

AWSOME!! I had a show like that a couple of weeks ago, She is my Marykay constualnt.. when I left I only left with an order of $63.00 when I closed her show last Friday it was over $400.00. I decided that I would really try a differnt approach to hostess coaching this time and it paid off for me as well.

Host coaching really does pay. Those reminder calls are the key! I had a host that was awesome with them! She called 2 or 3 days before the show and then that afternoon she called them again. She was even on the phone hunting people down when I got there to set up! She ended with about a $800/$900 show!!! And I got a 2 possibly 3 bookings and possible potential recruit.

I have hosts that do not like to give me phone numbers and address all the time.... so That is when I use my website for evites..... and for them to imput their guest list on to it. But their are those host that want to do it them selves... pain in the rear I tell ya!!!

My show for tomorrow night is now up to 16 yesses! YEAH! I hope they stay yesses...I keep telling the host, "the more the merrier - we're just going to have a big 'ole PC party!"

Yeah!! I am really big on calling people before show. I usually try to call everyone the day of or the night before a show as a host. So, I will really try to hit that up at my next 6 shows. It's funny because although I've submitted 6 shows now, only 2 were actual shows (1 was a 3-show mega show and 1 was my show I hosted), so I'm taking notes on how to coach hosts.
