cheesecakes
7 layer mexican dip
lasagna or other pasta dishes (makes a pretty presentation)
ice cream cakes
scalloped potatoes
my daughter has used it for a tiramisu recipe she found with the lady fingers around the edge

(we like cheesecake and flan - the only cake we usually eat is when it comes from Costco!)
