I was really inspired at SL to mail guest invites for my hosts. When is the best time to mail the invites? I was thinking 2 weeks, but I'm not sure.

Thanks!

I try not to mail more than two weeks out. I shoot for 2 weeks to 10 days but I encourage (several times) my hosts to personally invite first.

10 days is good. Tammy Stanley has some great training on sending out invitations. She recommends 7-10 days for several reasons. First, home parties are something that take priority in people's lives and therefore need to be on their calendar weeks in advance. Second, the longer something is on our calendar the more it begins to feel like a COMMITMENT and the more we start to dread it, or make excuses for why we can't go (because we tend to not like commitments).

I also tell my hosts that the longer they have the invitation the more likely it is to get lost, buried in a pile on the counter or at the bottom of the purse, and the more likely they are to forget about it all together.

To add what Michelle said, Tammy also said- most people do know what they are doing 1-2 weeks out, but rarely do they know further than that, so that's part of the reason it's not so great to send them out too far out. It also works for if you need to send late invitations or booking close- because people already know if they have that date open and can come or not.I usually try for around 10 days from the party.

Thanks! It appears many on here like to send the minis in a regular envelope. If I were to send the minis with sticker closures and a the invite labels from CC, do the minis tend to get destroyed in the mail? I was thinking of sending out the minis w/out the envelopes since this is something new I'm trying out. When sending minis alone, can I use postcard postage?

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to mail guest invites for a Pampered Chef party?

The best time to mail guest invites is typically 2-3 weeks before the party date. This gives your guests enough time to RSVP and make arrangements to attend. Sending invites too early may lead to forgetfulness, while sending them too late may not allow guests to adjust their schedules.

Should I send physical invites or digital invites?

Both physical and digital invites have their advantages. Physical invites can feel more personal and can be a fun surprise in the mail, while digital invites are quicker and can be easily shared. Consider your audience and what they might prefer. A combination of both can also work well.

How do I create an effective mini invite for my guests?

An effective mini invite should be eye-catching and include essential details such as the date, time, location, and RSVP information. You can also add a personal touch by including a brief note about what guests can expect at the party, such as new products or special promotions.

What is the best way to send mini invites?

Mini invites can be sent through various methods, including mailing them directly to guests, handing them out in person, or including them with other correspondence. If you choose to mail them, consider using colorful envelopes to grab attention. If sending digitally, you can create a visually appealing image to share via email or social media.

How do I follow up with guests after sending invites?

Following up is crucial to ensure a good turnout. You can send a friendly reminder via text or email about a week before the party. This can also be a great opportunity to answer any questions they may have and encourage them to bring friends along for added fun!
