I'm looking for suggestions, other than the Season's Best, to give to my hosts as a thank you. What do you guys do?

Well, I do give the Season's Best, but I pass it around for everyone to sign and then I give it to the host. Sometimes I will give them a product that they really wanted as a thank you. I will tack it on to her order and pay as a consultant gift.

I do the same with the Seasons Best. I also give a quickcut paring knife. I usually don't give more than that, unless they picked a 'book to look', or if it's around the holidays.

In addition to Season's Best, sometimes I throw in a citrus peeler. Everybody loves those little things. :)

I have everyone sign the SB just like AJ does.

I just give a SB too. But, like you Karen...I was wondering what else other consultant's give. I want to start offering different Host Gift's to get potential host's excited.

I get my Host 'thank you' gifts off of the supply order. At the show I give my Host a choice from a couple of things. I've used: coffee, bamboo tongs, small spatula, Twixits, seasonings, i-Slice, etc.

I sometimes give my host the spice (a new one that is) that goes along with the recipe that I am fixing. I always try to give something that goes along with the show.

That's my 2¢ worth

I give mine the SB. They all seem to love it and it peaks others interst in buying it for themselves.

I give my hosts a little bag with a sample of the Lemon Rosemary soap and 1 sink fizz! I stamp a little card in the colors for the season with an "A gift for you" stamp.
I bought all my bags (about postcard size) in Japan and have yet to find ones stateside that are the same size! Thankfully I still have a connection for my bags and a small stash!

Have a Pampered Day!!

I'm a fan of the SB with the signatures and one"nice" thing about the host. This is what my now director did at my show and I still treasure that copy!! Corny I know but we don't hear nice things about ourselves nearly enough!I also love the ez opener things as give aways....must be all that plastic the kids toys, cds...etc are wrapped in!

I give the SB from the previous season. I buy a whole bunch off supply before we change over.

Then when I present it, I make a big deal about it being a "collector's item."

That's what I do too! People seem to really like the mini serving spatula. I've also given out the small nylon turner and the full size pantry spices...

I too give the current signed Season's Best as a host gift. They are already getting so much. I don't mean this to sound snippy, I am just curious...why do you feel like you should give them a bigger (better) gift? The host benefits are AWESOME with Pampered Chef.

I give the signed SB, but instead of any other PC gift, I send out the invitations for my hosts, and pay for postage. I say that at my shows, too. I do the intro with the SB, pass it around, sign it, etc. Then I say something to the effect, "Since Mary is going to get so many gifts from the PC for hosting a show, including free, half price and discounted products, my gift to Mary is time and money, and who can't use that? Mary provided me with the names and addresses of all the guests she wanted invited, and I mailed the invitations for her, postage included. I'll do the same for you when you host your party."

Hosts LOVE that I mail their invitations for them, and my sales have definitely increased, cancelations have dropped.

Chef Kearns, I'm with you. I give my hosts a great Cooking Show and a Seasons Best, and let Pampered Chef give them the rest!

Ooh, I like how you say that at shows! I also mail out the invites with the same results that you stated. I like how you make it known though! Great tip:D

:D Thank you, Lacy!:D

Some may say its corny, but I think that the best thing about this business. Sure, the money is good, but I love the way we support each other and the way we celebrate everyone's wins!

cute idea about the signed season's best! I am going to start doing that for sure!!

I sometimes give a Season's Best and sometimes a homemade loaf of bread made in the mini loaf pan. People seem to like the personal touch and that they know they can use it. Mostly, I forget to bring something and/or forget to give it to them so usually they get the regular host benefits. Everyone always seems pleased so I think that's enough....

Well I go overboard according to you all...I give them the $15 they would have paid me for groceries.
I do the shopping and I used to ask for the $15 that PC gives them back for that hospitality. Well, I give that back to them. I then turn it into $30.
1) I write off the groceries then
2) I write off the condultant gift of $15.

They would rather mail out their invites than do the shopping I found out.
So I let them do the invites, I do the shopping and I double my money at the sale time.
Works very well.

I usually give a SB & maybe a spice pack from supply. But if I know they worked really hard or have a fantastic show I will put a full size rub or spice on their order as well. Then when I send them the receipt from PP I add a little sticky note with arrow pointing to it (spice) that says "a thank you, from me)That way they know who its for and why.

Microwave CakeSomething I did for one host and plan to do for others: I made a microwave cake in the Stoneware Fluted Pan ahead of time so it was cooled and decorated already, and then I made another one at the host's show and left it as a thank you gift for her husband allowing us to take over his home!! Guests have been very amazed that you can make a cake in the Stoneware Fluted Pan and in the microwave in 13 minutes! And, I know my friend's husband really appreciated the cake! So, I plan to do this at other shows.

What do the guests sign? Just their names?

When I send the SB around the room I tell them to write a (host's name) appropriate message. For some reason that gets a big laugh from everyone.

At your party I would say, "This is my gift to Susan for having a Pampered Chef party with me. I am going to send the cookbook around the room for everyone to sign and write a Susan appropriate message so she remembers who was at her party when she goes back to make the Ice Cream Sandwich Torte for her family next week."

Everyone does seem to like that!

I bring the food--that is my gift--I say it and I have it on the back of my catalogs with my name-we have 2 recipes--they only need a drink--I use the SB or quikut as my doorprize gift-----I can do both for under $10 a show and it is a tax write off and they think I am all that!!!

I always hear--I have never heard of a PC consultant who brings the food....they can mail their own and call them--its their friends---I'd rather make the food ahead at home--takes less time--and now with e-mail invites--it wouldn't seem that big of a thing

Its cheaper for me to buy an item that I may get 2 or 3 recipes from or chop stuff and freeze than it is for them to go buy everything when I may only use a little of it....

but thats just my thing

that's whats great we can do whatever we think will work for us:D

What is the recipe for that cake?

I do something a bit different...I give a sample size of the Lemon-rosemary lotion, with a pack of smarties - wrapped up in colored cellophane on a bed of colored paper shreds, and sealed with a Twix-it. I give this to the Host & Past Host she booked from at the show, and say "Thanks for being such a "Smartie" and booking with me" - and then use that as a lead-in for all the other reasons it's smart to book a show! People love it - especially knowing that the past host also gets special benefits at the show!
