No cooking again for me tonight! We are having pizza and salad.

Left over pizza.

Not sure. I've got a show tonight that I'd really rather call in sick & stay home with the family, but I won't.

I'll probably leave it up to DH to feed the kids & I'll eat tonight when I get home.

Well the past couple of times I have posted our dinner plans here on CS we have ended up changing them completely...ROFL....

So tonight we are having the Cheeseburger Macaroni, bread and veggie I said we were having LAST time I posted...LOL

I know I change my plans all the time. Just depends how lazy I am when it come to making dinner :)

Don't know what's for dinner yet. DH took the day off, but has provided no input when I ask him what he wants. We had tomato soup and grilled cheese for lunch.

I was thinking baked ziti. But since DH won't be home & the kidlets have Tae Kwon Do at 5:45, I may just do something else. Ideas, anyone???

I think Taco Soup. I have a thread about what to do with left over taco meat.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some quick pizza options for dinner?

For a quick pizza option, consider using pre-made pizza dough or store-bought crusts. You can top them with your favorite sauces, cheeses, and toppings. Another fast option is to use a tortilla or pita bread as a base for mini pizzas. Just add sauce, cheese, and toppings, then bake until the cheese is melted.

How can I make a healthy salad for dinner?

To create a healthy salad, start with a variety of greens like spinach, kale, or mixed greens. Add colorful vegetables such as bell peppers, cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes. Include a source of protein like grilled chicken, chickpeas, or tofu. Top it off with a light dressing made from olive oil and vinegar for added flavor without excess calories.

What ingredients do I need for taco soup?

For taco soup, you'll need ground beef or turkey, canned diced tomatoes, black beans, kidney beans, corn, and taco seasoning. You can also add chopped onions, bell peppers, and jalapeños for extra flavor. Simmer all the ingredients together for about 30 minutes, and serve with tortilla chips or cheese on top.

Can I prepare pizza, salad, and taco soup in advance?

Yes, you can prepare all three dishes in advance. For pizza, you can make the dough and toppings ahead of time and assemble them just before baking. Salads can be prepped by chopping vegetables and storing them in the fridge; just add dressing before serving. Taco soup can be made in a large batch and stored in the fridge or freezer, making it easy to reheat for dinner.

Which dish is the easiest to make for a large group?

Taco soup is typically the easiest dish to prepare for a large group. It requires minimal prep time and can be made in a large pot. You can easily scale the recipe up or down based on the number of guests. Additionally, it can be served in a buffet style, allowing guests to customize their bowls with toppings like cheese, sour cream, and avocado.
