I am thinking of going to the local flea market here on Sunday. I was wondering if any of you have done this before and if you did what all you took with you? I want to try to get some more bookings for May. Any ideas on Flyers to take or anything please let me know. Thank you!;)

I have never done a flea market but I believe that there is a rather lengthy thread on here somewhere that should have the answers to your questions.

marketI asked at the indoor soccer place my son goes to and they called me yesterday - every first saturday of the month (starting in June they will have vendors set up and create a market feel.

I asked then if I can come in during May to set up for HWC and they said of course - I'll be there Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 9 pm - the have a female league that plays on wednesdays - the same building has a Bally's fitness right at the entrance.

Keep your fingers crossed - I am a new consultant and hope to increase sales and get show leads this way

here's the flyer I've made up for the HWC campaign

Oh you will do great. HWC is such a wonderful cause, and everyone will want to help. Congrats on the possibility. I am keeping my fingers crossed for ya!!

Hi there! I have actually done the flea market circuit before and it can be a great way to get more bookings for your business. Some things I would recommend bringing with you are: a small table or display to showcase some of your products, business cards, order forms, and maybe some samples or demonstrations to attract potential customers. As for flyers, you could create some with a special offer for booking a party at the flea market or include a QR code that links to your website or social media pages. Good luck and have fun at the flea market! :)

Frequently Asked Questions

What products should I bring to sell at the flea market?

It's best to bring a variety of popular Pampered Chef products that appeal to a wide audience. Consider items like kitchen tools, cookware, and unique gadgets. Focus on bestsellers and seasonal items that may attract attention during the May flea market.

How much inventory should I bring?

Bringing a moderate amount of inventory is key. Aim for a mix of high-demand items and a few unique products. A good rule of thumb is to have enough stock to fill your display while ensuring you can restock if certain items sell quickly.

What marketing materials should I prepare?

Prepare brochures, business cards, and flyers that highlight your products and any ongoing promotions. Having a clear display of your contact information and social media handles will help potential customers connect with you after the event.

Should I offer samples or demonstrations?

Yes, offering samples or live demonstrations can significantly boost interest in your products. Consider showcasing a popular recipe using Pampered Chef tools, as this not only highlights the products but also engages potential customers in a fun way.

What payment methods should I accept?

To maximize sales, accept multiple payment methods. While cash is essential, consider using mobile payment options like PayPal, Venmo, or credit card processing apps to accommodate a wider range of customers.
