My recruit, who is active duty Air Force, is using "Cookin' in Combat Boots" as her catch phrase. So, I'm trying to help her design some awesome business cards and I'm looking for suggestions. I'm going to check out Microsoft's Clip Gallery but what other free galleries would you suggest?

Suggestions appreciated!

Thank you!

I think you should have a pair of army boots with a whisk sticking out of one of the boots, and a chef's hat on the other boot, or wooden spoons out of the top.

LOL! We had already thought about having combat boots and a chef hat. But I like the idea of a whisk also!

Frequently Asked Questions

What elements should I include on a military-themed business card?

When designing a military-themed business card, consider including elements such as camouflage patterns, military insignia, or symbols representing different branches of the armed forces. Additionally, you can use a color palette that reflects military colors like olive green, navy blue, or desert tan. Don't forget to include your name, contact information, and a tagline that reflects your military background or the services you offer.

How can I make my military-themed business card stand out?

To make your military-themed business card stand out, consider using unique textures or finishes, such as embossed lettering or a matte finish. You can also incorporate a QR code that links to your website or social media profiles, allowing potential clients to easily access more information about your business. Additionally, using a creative layout or an unconventional shape can help your card catch the eye.

Should I include my military rank on my business card?

Including your military rank on your business card can add credibility and help establish trust with potential clients. It can also serve as a conversation starter. However, ensure that it aligns with the overall message you want to convey about your business. If your rank is relevant to the services you provide, it may be beneficial to include it.

What type of font works best for military-themed business cards?

For military-themed business cards, consider using bold, strong fonts that convey a sense of authority and professionalism. Fonts that resemble stencil or military-style lettering can also enhance the theme. However, ensure that the font is legible and complements the overall design of the card. Avoid overly decorative fonts that may distract from the essential information.

Are there any specific printing options I should consider for military-themed business cards?

When printing military-themed business cards, consider using high-quality cardstock for durability. You might also explore options like rounded corners or a matte finish to give a more polished look. Additionally, consider using spot UV coating to highlight specific elements of your design, such as your logo or military insignia, making them stand out even more.
