Okay, I'm working on my office hours because I spend way too much fun time on PC and not enough on my other wifely duties (get your mind out of the gutter, KG). I have the hours pretty much down and plan to try them through the end of February to see if they work.

What I need help with is specific daily duties like updating my website on Wednesday and doing Host Coaching on Mondays. What do you do and how does it work for you?

This might help!!!I received a week by week schedule of events "To Do" list from my Executive that was done by another Executive, because I can't seem to get it together. If I can figure out how to post it (it's in Word), I will do it. It might at least get the ball rolling.
Good Luck...let me know if it helps!

Basically I am going to fill in what I am going to do and when. :D So that I can look at a week in a glance :D

Thanks for the schedule, Jennifer. I'm looking to be more set in my daily and monthly tasks as well. I'm finding that if I don't at least have a plan then I don't remember things like updating my website or getting my host packets out early.

That is me all the time. Since having kids, staying home and doing PC, I can't remember to do anything. I swear, when I worked outside the home, I got a lot more done with my PC business...more time at my "other" job. Too funny!!!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some daily tasks to prioritize in an organized office schedule?

Daily tasks should include reviewing and updating your to-do list, prioritizing urgent tasks, checking emails, and scheduling time for meetings or calls. Allocating specific blocks of time for each task can help maintain focus and productivity throughout the day.

How can I effectively manage my time in an organized office schedule?

To manage your time effectively, consider using time-blocking techniques where you allocate specific hours for different tasks. Additionally, setting deadlines for each task can create a sense of urgency and help you stay on track. Regular breaks can also improve focus and efficiency.

What tools can I use to maintain an organized office schedule?

There are various tools available, such as digital calendars (like Google Calendar), task management apps (like Trello or Asana), and traditional planners. These tools can help you keep track of appointments, deadlines, and daily tasks while allowing for easy adjustments as needed.

How often should I review and adjust my office schedule?

It's beneficial to review your office schedule daily, ideally at the beginning or end of each day. Weekly reviews can also help you assess your progress and make necessary adjustments for the upcoming week, ensuring that you remain aligned with your goals and priorities.

What strategies can I implement to minimize distractions in my office schedule?

To minimize distractions, designate specific times for checking emails and messages rather than allowing them to interrupt your workflow. Creating a dedicated workspace, using noise-canceling headphones, and setting boundaries with colleagues can also help maintain focus and productivity.
