I have an Open House every Fall and Spring when the new catalogs/products come out. Last fall I had a Potini themed party and it went over VERY well. I am looking for ideas for some kind of theme party for April. Maybe some kind of bar where the guests can assemble their own type of food or snack... Or anything creative! Please let me know if you have any ideas or have done something that has worked really well. Thanks!

How about a taco salad bar of some sort? Put the toppings in SA and use tortilla chips.....very easy and you could call it a FIESTA open house!

Yeah, and put the sour cream and guacamole in the decorator bottles.

I was thinking of something more springy...the taco bar seems like it wouldn't draw many people in. Any other ideas of new things??

April Open houseHow about tropical theme for April?
use tools to shape pineapple and have cool chunks in chilzanne. Tuxedo strawberries (maybe do another color & white instead of black)
"tropical" punch in the pitcher..... Refreshing grapes, little umbrella's poked in and around food. Bite size Fudgy Brownies from the "It's good for you" cookbook (they are awesome, I make them in the square baker and add 20-25minutes to time.....as long as the center doesn't jiggle then they are done, my bookings keep wanting that at their show after tasting at friends show) these lighter foods keep it light and fresh, not a lot of work for Consultant and guests leave feeling good, not stuffed. You could really have fun with this one!

I'm doing something cute/springy to generate booking leads in April. If you go to Target in there little "Dollar Pit" when you first walk in they have such cute stuff. There was this little package of 4 pop-up cute bags with a flower or bunny I think on it. I'm going to put some candy and then a piece of paper in it. The paper will have something for them to choose ( Mix 'N Chop or Micro towels) at there show for booking on the date on the outside of the bag.

... Basically a Book to Look!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some fun spring-themed ideas for an April Open House?

Consider a "Spring Fling" theme where you showcase fresh, seasonal ingredients. You can incorporate floral decorations, pastel colors, and offer light, refreshing recipes that highlight spring produce like asparagus, strawberries, and peas. This theme encourages guests to embrace the season and try new recipes.

How can I incorporate Easter into my April Open House?

Host an "Easter Brunch" theme featuring recipes perfect for a holiday gathering. Decorate with Easter eggs, bunnies, and spring flowers. Offer cooking demonstrations for brunch favorites like quiches, pastries, and colorful salads. You could also include a fun egg hunt for kids or a raffle for adults to win Pampered Chef products.

What are some creative ways to showcase Pampered Chef products during the open house?

Set up different cooking stations where guests can try out various Pampered Chef tools and products. For example, have a station for baking, another for grilling, and one for meal prep. This hands-on approach allows guests to experience the products in action, making it more likely they'll want to purchase them.

Can I include a charity aspect to my April Open House?

Absolutely! Consider a "Cook for a Cause" theme where a portion of the sales from the event goes to a local charity. You can create a special recipe booklet featuring dishes that can be made with Pampered Chef products, with proceeds from sales going to the charity. This not only promotes community involvement but also encourages guests to support a good cause.

What types of refreshments should I serve at my April Open House?

Serve light and refreshing spring-inspired refreshments such as fruit-infused water, herbal teas, and light appetizers like vegetable platters with dips, mini quiches, and spring rolls. You could also include a dessert station with seasonal treats like lemon bars or strawberry shortcake, which will complement the overall theme and keep guests engaged.
