I have no idea what I am doing! She has already set up the registry, and we will be doing a wedding shower. Do we need to print her registry to have at the shower to people know what she wants? Also, does Pampered Chef send her invites or do I need to do that? I know they said something about 30, but I didn't know if that was something I had to do or something PC did.

Thanks!

The registry and the shower are two different things. I would cancel the registry for now and focus on the shower (using her registry list as the wish list). Then when the shower is over, you can take the remaining items and set up a registry.

The rewards are unlimited for a shower whereas they are capped at $200 for the registry, so maximize the shower rewards first.

What I did was kept the registry open and when the shower was over, I went in and put the items purchased as outside the registry. I had people that couldn't attend the shower and choose to purchase off the registry.

You will have to send out invitations for the shower. I ordered the PC ones, but there are some really neat ones on here.

What I did was used the registry as a wish list and printed cards and made a board with all her wishes and displayed it so at the shower, people could taken them off the board and purchase them for the bride.

Thanks ladies! I emailed her telling her that they were two different things, but I will call and talk to her tomorrow!

What I did was put just a few of the higher priced items on the registry and will add whatever isn't purchased at the shower to the registry afterwards. The only reason I did this is that her wedding invitations will be going out before the shower and we wanted to include the web address for her registry in her invitations. We didn't want a guest to go looking for the registry and finding nothing!

Thanks! I will let her know Monday when I call her!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I include in my wedding shower registry?

When creating your wedding shower registry, consider including a mix of items that cater to your lifestyle and needs. Essential kitchen tools, cookware, dinnerware sets, and small appliances from brands like Pampered Chef are great choices. Additionally, think about including items for home décor, bedding, and experiences like cooking classes or date nights. Be sure to register at multiple price points to accommodate all guests.

How do I choose the right invitations for my wedding shower?

Selecting the right invitations for your wedding shower depends on the theme and tone of the event. Consider whether you want a formal or casual feel. Look for designs that reflect the couple's personality and the shower's theme. You can choose from traditional paper invitations or opt for digital invites for convenience. Ensure you include all essential details such as date, time, location, RSVP information, and any registry details.

When should I send out wedding shower invitations?

Wedding shower invitations should ideally be sent out 4 to 6 weeks before the event. This gives guests ample time to RSVP and make arrangements to attend. If your shower is close to the wedding date, consider sending them out earlier to ensure everyone can join in the celebration. Be sure to include RSVP deadlines to help with planning.

How can I politely include registry information in the invitations?

To include registry information politely, you can add a small note at the bottom of the invitation or include a separate card. Phrases like "The couple is registered at [store names]" or "Your presence is the greatest gift, but if you wish to honor them with a gift, they are registered at [store names]" can be used. This approach keeps the focus on the celebration while providing helpful information for guests.

What are some creative themes for a wedding shower?

There are countless creative themes for a wedding shower that can make the event memorable. Popular themes include a kitchen or cooking theme, where guests can bring Pampered Chef products; a garden party with floral decorations; or a travel theme featuring the couple's favorite destinations. You could also consider a retro or vintage theme, a brunch shower, or even a themed potluck where guests bring dishes inspired by the couple's favorite cuisines.
