Participants generally agree on the effectiveness of Dyson and Oreck vacuums, with multiple endorsements for both brands. However, there is no clear consensus on a single best vacuum, as experiences and preferences vary widely.
Participants share personal anecdotes regarding their vacuum purchases and experiences, reflecting a range of household needs and preferences, particularly in homes with pets or children.

I've got the attachment that shifts brushes up and down for carpets and hardwood floors. I've also got the funny attachment that has a tube and a whirling brush for walls and ceilings. It makes a weird whistling noise but it's very effective.pamperedlinda said:Me too! I have the Iron Man Cannister.....Love it for my hardwood floors!
