Is There a Way to Retrieve Damaged Numbers on an iTunes Card?

My daughter received an Itunes card for Easter. She's only had 2 before this (newish Ipod). Well she's now scratched the covered area too much and we can't read 3 of the numbers now! :grumpy: Is there any way to 'fix' this/figure out the number or is she just 'out of luck'?

Why oh why wouldn't she wait for me? She just asked for a penny, I gave her one, and she went and scratched the heck out of the area....UGH!

Unfortunately, if you can no longer read the numbers on the iTunes card, then she is out of luck. You will need to contact Apple Support directly and see if they can help you resolve the issue.

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's iTunes card mishap. Unfortunately, once the numbers on the card have been damaged, there is no way to retrieve them. Your daughter will most likely have to purchase a new card or contact iTunes customer support for assistance. In the future, it may be helpful to remind her to be more careful when handling gift cards. Hopefully she will learn from this experience. Best of luck!
