Troubleshooting PC Server Issues: Updates from Tech Support

In summary, the most common causes of server issues are software bugs, hardware failures, network connectivity problems, and incorrect server configurations. To troubleshoot server issues, you can check for error messages, review server logs, perform a network connectivity test, restart the server, or update the software. If the server is running slowly, you can clear the cache, optimize server configurations, reduce workload, and check for hardware issues. In case of server update failures, you can try again with necessary prerequisites or contact technical support. To prevent server issues, regularly updating server software, installing security patches, implementing strong password policies, restricting access, and backing up important data are recommended.

I called tech support on PC to ask when all PWS and the main website would be back up and running. The gentleman on the phone said it wasn't exactly a server issue but that Corporate doesn't even have an online connection right now to the outside world. He said they are working on it but could give me no timeframe of when it would be fixed. Just wanted to share.

...A little frustating for me since I have an online show that is closing today and most of the people were going to place orders TODAY. C'est la vie!:p

Ooooohhh!!!!Sounds like someone cut a cable!!!!:p I had that happen one time where I worked. We had internal web and email, nothing out of the building. Some construction folks cut a cable.
