I used the button to add my Feb newsletter to icontact. None of the pictures showed up. There is a new message on icontact about using MS word but I have no idea if this has to do with the pictures or not. Is there anything I can do?
Thanks! I love your newsletters.

Update, I got it to send the pictures for the test email, but it still wasn't showing up on icontact.

It could be the security settings of your browswer. I recently upgraded my IE. The old version asked if I'd want to see unsecure images, I'd click "Yes." The new one wants to know if I only want to see secure content. It took me a few times to actually read the box and not automatically click "Yes."

Noora is on the right track. Do you have another browser you can use? The "send to icontact" button merely copies and pastes the html code into your icontact account, so that shouldn't affect the images.... especially since they show up for you on the email. You can try contacting iContact tech support directly.. they may know of your specific browser issues.

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your newsletter pictures in iContact. I would recommend double-checking that the pictures are properly embedded in the newsletter and not just linked from a separate source. If they are embedded, it could be an issue with the compatibility between iContact and MS Word. I would suggest trying to upload your newsletter as a PDF instead. If the issue persists, please reach out to iContact's customer support for further assistance. I'm glad to hear that you enjoy our newsletters and I hope this issue gets resolved soon. Happy cooking!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if my newsletter pictures are not displaying correctly in iContact?

If your newsletter pictures are not displaying correctly, first check the image URLs to ensure they are correct and accessible. Make sure the images are uploaded to a reliable server and that the links are not broken. Additionally, verify that the images are in a supported format (like JPG, PNG, or GIF) and that they meet the size requirements set by iContact.

How can I optimize images for my iContact newsletter?

To optimize images for your iContact newsletter, resize them to the appropriate dimensions before uploading. Aim for a resolution of 72 DPI for web use, and compress the images to reduce file size without sacrificing quality. This will help your newsletter load faster and improve the overall user experience.

Why do my images appear as broken links in the newsletter preview?

If your images appear as broken links in the newsletter preview, it may be due to incorrect URLs or the images not being publicly accessible. Ensure that the images are hosted on a public server and that the URLs are correctly copied into the iContact editor. You can also try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache to see if that resolves the issue.

What file formats are supported for images in iContact newsletters?

iContact supports several file formats for images, including JPG, PNG, and GIF. It's important to use these formats to ensure compatibility and proper display in your newsletters. Avoid using formats like BMP or TIFF, as they may not be supported.

How can I troubleshoot image loading issues in my iContact newsletter?

To troubleshoot image loading issues, start by checking your internet connection and refreshing the page. If the problem persists, verify that the image URLs are correct and that the images are hosted on a reliable server. Additionally, test the newsletter on different devices and email clients to see if the issue is specific to one platform. If all else fails, consider reaching out to iContact support for further assistance.
