karlene said:don't like mine either...on my second pair and they wont cut through plastic either...I'm fearful now, because I just closed out a $13,000.00 show/fundraiser, and there were over 30 pairs ordered. Wonder how many of those customers will want to replace...ughhh

If the blades are not cutting properly, first check to see if they are clean and free of any debris. You can wash the blades with warm, soapy water and dry them thoroughly. If the blades are still dull, consider sharpening them with a knife sharpener designed for scissors.
If the springs are not functioning, they may be stuck due to dirt or debris. Try cleaning the area around the spring mechanism with a soft brush or cloth. If the spring is damaged, you may need to replace the shears or contact customer service for assistance.
If the handles feel stiff, it may be due to a lack of lubrication. Apply a small amount of food-safe lubricant to the pivot point where the handles meet. Open and close the shears several times to distribute the lubricant evenly.
If the shears are not opening or closing smoothly, check for any obstructions in the pivot area. Clean out any debris and ensure that the blades are aligned properly. If the issue persists, inspect the spring for any signs of damage.
Unfortunately, the springs in Herb Stripper Shears are typically not designed to be replaced. If the spring is broken, it is usually best to purchase a new pair of shears. However, you can contact Pampered Chef customer service for guidance on warranty options or potential repairs.
