:grumpy:UGH!! I always send out a newsletter on the 15th through iContact and Mike's service but I keep getting an error message. I contacted him yesterday and he said they are working on it but that I can paste the html code...How do I do that? I am paying for a service that I cannot use - BUMMER!!

Aw, that's too bad. :( I used to use Mike's services and iContact, and loved it for a long time, but gave up on it and now just use the ones HO provides with our PWS subscription. I found I was always spending too much time "fixing" it to reflect the things I wanted it to say and since HO waits to announce things till the 1st of the month, some things wouldn't get on Mike's newsletter and then I'd wait to send mine out until after I got the images and wording for the new info onto it, etc. I do miss certain things about his, but I'm fine with the HO one. Less stress and saving me $$ and time. :)

Hey there! I totally understand your frustration. It's definitely a bummer when you're paying for a service and it's not working properly. Have you tried reaching out to iContact's customer support for assistance? They might be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and get your newsletter sent out on time. As for pasting the HTML code, you can usually do that by clicking on the "source" or "HTML" button in the email editor and then pasting the code there. Hope that helps!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if my email design looks different in various email clients?

Different email clients render HTML and CSS differently, which can lead to design discrepancies. To troubleshoot this, test your email in multiple clients (like Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail) and use inline CSS for better compatibility. Additionally, consider using responsive design techniques and email testing tools to preview how your email will appear across different platforms.

How can I fix images that are not displaying in my email?

If images are not displaying, check the following: ensure that the image URLs are correct and accessible, confirm that the images are hosted on a secure server (HTTPS), and verify that the email settings allow for images to be displayed. You can also include alt text for images to provide context if they do not load.

What can I do if my email is being marked as spam?

To reduce the chances of your email being marked as spam, ensure that you have a clean mailing list with confirmed opt-ins, avoid using spammy words in your subject line and content, and include a clear unsubscribe option. Additionally, authenticate your emails with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to improve deliverability.

Why does my email look different when viewed on mobile devices?

Emails can appear differently on mobile devices due to varying screen sizes and resolutions. To address this, use responsive design techniques such as media queries and fluid layouts. Test your emails on multiple devices and screen sizes to ensure they render correctly and make adjustments as needed.

What should I do if my email links are not working?

If your email links are not functioning, check that the URLs are correctly formatted and include the full path (e.g., http:// or https://). Ensure there are no typos in the links and that they are not being blocked by email clients or security settings. Testing the links before sending the email can help identify any issues.
