Okay everyone, well my first show wasn't that bad as far as how I did, the bummer was that 15 people had RSVP'd the host and only 5 showed. We had fun though, they loved the raffle ticket thing I did, everyone bought one. I did 309- at the show, but there are more outside orders coming in, I let everyone try out the products which made two people buy the Food Chopper. I also booked a show for August, and another woman asked to do a bridal shower next Spring.... I have two shows next weekend...I am a little bummed about the turnout, and the amount $, but there is no where to go but up! :p

It sounds like you had a great show! You got lots of leads and for 5 people, $309 is great, especially since you have more orders coming.

You go girl!! You're right, the only way to go is up, and that is the direction you are going!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the key elements to ensure a successful first Pampered Chef show?

To ensure a successful first Pampered Chef show, focus on three key elements: preparation, engagement, and follow-up. Prepare by familiarizing yourself with the products and recipes you'll demonstrate. Engage your guests by creating an interactive atmosphere, encouraging questions, and involving them in the cooking process. Finally, follow up with guests after the show to thank them for attending and remind them of any special offers or promotions.

How can I secure new bookings during my first show?

To secure new bookings during your first show, create excitement about hosting their own shows. Share the benefits of hosting, such as exclusive host discounts and free products. Offer a special incentive, like a small gift or discount, for anyone who books a show that day. Make sure to ask for bookings at the end of your presentation when guests are most enthusiastic about the products.

What strategies can I use to encourage guests to place orders at my first show?

Encourage guests to place orders by showcasing the products effectively during your demonstration. Highlight the unique features and benefits of each item, and share personal stories or testimonials about how they have made a difference in your cooking. Create a sense of urgency by mentioning limited-time offers or promotions. How do I follow up with guests after my first show to maximize orders and bookings?

After your first show, follow up with guests through personalized messages, thanking them for attending and expressing your hope that they enjoyed the experience. Include a recap of the products demonstrated and any special offers that are still available. Encourage them to reach out if they have questions or need help with their orders. This personal touch can help convert interest into actual orders and bookings.

What should I do if I don't get as many bookings or orders as I hoped for?

If you don't get as many bookings or orders as you hoped for, don't be discouraged. Reflect on your presentation and consider areas for improvement, such as product knowledge or engagement techniques. Reach out to guests after the show to gather feedback and express your willingness to assist them with any questions. Additionally, consider hosting a follow-up event or offering a special promotion to rekindle interest and encourage future bookings.
