wowAWESOME! Thanks for sharing Cathy - these are SO helpful. :)

Thank you so much for this info. I have been so disappointed in myself. i just can't get motivated. I need bookings and night after night I put off contacting my customers, always coming up with some sort of excuse. Thank you for kick starting me. I found How to Get All Booked Up to be especially helpful because it outlined everything step by step; just what I need right now!

Thanks, I took copies of these as well. I am in need of bookings.

Thank you so much for posting all these. It is hard when you run out of family and friends and do not work another job to find people to date with. I have only held a few shows and really want to build up a good business but it is very to build it up when you do not have alot of leads of people to contact for datings. So thank you so much for sharing this wonderful information.

Thanks! This information is great! :chef:

Wow! There must be something in the air. I have a large stack of possible hosts and lately I would rather have a root canal than pick up the phone!

Tonight it is my goal to print out the Get booked up document and start that process.

Wish me luck!

Thank you Cathy, those are great ideas!! I am also in need of bookings and will be using some of your ideas pronto.

Old contacts could bring new bookings!I talked to my Sales Manager today, and she suggested making "out of the blue calls" to all my past hosts, guests, anyone who has ever ordered. I have been a Consultant for almost 6 years, that's a lot of contacts!! If you have contacts in your contact management, old sales receipts, and drawing slips. I will be getting on the phone as soon as possible to start calling!! I hope this idea works for you as well!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some effective ways to increase bookings for my Pampered Chef parties?

To increase bookings, consider hosting a themed party that aligns with current trends or seasons. Utilize social media to showcase your products and share customer testimonials. Offer incentives for bookings, such as discounts or free products for hosts. Networking with friends, family, and local community groups can also help spread the word.

How can I leverage social media to book more parties?

Use platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest to share engaging content related to Pampered Chef products. Post recipes, cooking tips, and live demonstrations to attract interest. Create events on Facebook for upcoming parties and encourage attendees to invite friends. Engaging with your audience through polls and Q&A sessions can also spark interest in hosting their own parties.

What should I do if I’m facing rejection when trying to book parties?

Rejection is a normal part of sales. Instead of taking it personally, ask for feedback on why they declined. This can provide valuable insights for future attempts. Keep a positive attitude and remember that persistence is key. Consider reaching out to different demographics or adjusting your approach based on the feedback received.

Are there specific times of year that are better for booking parties?

Yes, certain times of the year tend to be more favorable for bookings. The holiday season, especially from October to December, is popular for cooking and entertaining. Additionally, the start of the school year and spring can be great times as people are often looking for new recipes and ideas for gatherings. Aligning your booking efforts with these times can increase your chances of success.

How can I create a sense of urgency to encourage bookings?

Creating a sense of urgency can be achieved by offering limited-time promotions or exclusive products for hosts. Highlighting upcoming holidays or events can also motivate potential hosts to book quickly. Use phrases like “book by the end of the month for a special gift” or “limited spots available” to encourage immediate action.
