Can anyone help me with these 2 quotes? I ran across them and for the life of me can't find them nor can recall exactly what they said!

1st one: Something like this

Even a seed sits in darkness until it grows into the sunlight

2nd one: Something like this

Someone else can not succeed unless they want to. You can't do the work for them

Not sure exactly if this is what you are looking for, but these are what I found that struck me:“Take the time to plant seeds even if you're unsure if they'll grow; who knows, maybe all it takes is for someone else to come along and water it.”
― Kai Mann"People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing."
-Dale Carnegie"The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will."
-Vince LombardiSome of these came from brainyquote.com
