Hey everyone....awhile back we were talking about using the mini catalogs as invitations. I send mine out for my hosts, & decided to use the mini's last month. Anyone else doing this? Just curious if you think it's increasing you sales? I type up a simple note with all the host info (I keep it real simple) and stick it inside the front page of the mini. My post office says I have to tape all three open sides for them to go throught their machines. So, it's more work & money, but I think it's been worth it.(though it doesn't require anymore handwriting which I like!) It has increased my outside orders, plus those attending the show are excited to see the new products.
Please share your results:)

Lacy,
Has your show average gone up using these? What about attendance? If your $average has gone up = by about how much would you say? I've been thinking about doing this - but want to make sure the extra cost is worth it....

I have never done the mini-catalogs.

AN interesting thought. I only had to sticky the one side and everyone got them. But I might sticky the other 2 this time. Someone's check slipped in the last time into one and it wasn't mine!!!

Hi everyone! I've also been using the mini catalogs as invitations for my hosts and I have seen a positive impact on my sales. Like the original poster, I include a simple note with all the host information and tape all three open sides as per my post office's requirements. It does require a bit more work and money, but I believe it's worth it. I have noticed an increase in outside orders and my guests are excited to see the new products at the show. I would love to hear from others who have also used the mini catalogs as invitations and their results. Let's keep sharing our experiences and tips with each other! Happy cooking!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are mini catalogs and how can they be used as invites?

Mini catalogs are condensed versions of the full product catalog that showcase a selection of items. They can be used as invites by sending them to potential customers, encouraging them to explore the products and attend a cooking show or party. This approach not only highlights specific items but also serves as a personal invitation to engage with the brand.

What results can I expect from using mini catalogs as invites?

Using mini catalogs as invites can lead to increased attendance at events, higher engagement from potential customers, and ultimately more sales. By providing a tangible item that showcases products, you create a sense of excitement and curiosity, which can motivate recipients to participate in your events.

How can I effectively distribute mini catalogs to maximize their impact?

To maximize the impact of mini catalogs, consider personalizing them with a handwritten note or a special offer. Distribute them through direct mail, hand them out at local events, or include them in follow-up communications with previous customers. The more personal and targeted your distribution method, the better the results you are likely to see.

Are there specific strategies for following up after sending mini catalogs?

Yes, following up is crucial. After sending mini catalogs, reach out to recipients via phone or email to ask if they have any questions about the products or the upcoming event. This personal touch can help build relationships and encourage attendance. Additionally, consider offering a limited-time promotion to create urgency.

Can mini catalogs be used in combination with other marketing strategies?

Absolutely! Mini catalogs can complement other marketing strategies such as social media promotions, email campaigns, and in-person demonstrations. By integrating mini catalogs into a broader marketing plan, you can reinforce your messaging and reach a wider audience, increasing the likelihood of successful engagement and sales.
