Recipes From the Past: Chicken & Broccli Braid & Cherry Cheesecake!

In summary, Back when I was first introduced to PC, the rage in recipes was the Chicken and Broccoli Braid. I remember that the recipe included cream cheese, a can of cherry pie filling, and that's all I remember. Anyone have the recipe for me?

used parchment on round stone to keep it from running off, had cream cheese, a can of cherry pie filling(or in my case I used blueberry) and that's all I really remember anyone know what I am talking about? or something simialr?

1 package (8oz) cream cheese, softened ½ cup powdered sugar
¼ cup powdered sugar 2 – 3 tsps milk

1 can (21oz) cherry pie filling

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

3. Unroll 1 package of crescent dough, do not separate. Arrange longest sides of dough across width of 12” x 15” Rectangle Baking Stone. Repeat with remaining package of dough. Using Bakers Roller, roll dough to seal perforations. On longest sides of Baking Stone, cut dough into strips 1 ½ inches apart, 3 inches deep.

4. Spread cream cheese mixture over middle of dough. Top with cherry pie filling.

5. To braid, lift strips of dough across mixture to meet in center, twisting each strip one turn. Continue alternating strips to form a braid. Tuck ends up to seal at end of braid.
