I have in my personal info on myspace that I just started PC and to email me if you're interested, no link back or anything. Is this against the rules too??

Unfortunately, YES! Go change it or you can get in trouble!!

Your are not allowed to bring up PC's name on those type of sites! Especially that you are a consultant. I mean you could say that you love PC but you can't say that you are a consultant, and to contact you.... that is still advertising and that is a big NO NO! I'm sorry! I know it sucks!:grumpy:

What you could do is put that you are a consultant for a company that sells high quality kitchen tools.

Oh and Ann you are so quoteable (sp)! I find myself using that phrase when I am talking to others who are familiar with our company...it is my code word! LOL!! :blushing:

That is good Ann:thumbup:

Also, you can't even post bulletins to your friends about PC....trust me, I got turned in for it! Even if your site is private...

I am glad I read all this as I wanted to do a myspace page. I have to say, its a turnoff for me that they wont let us advertise a business that we are starting for ourselves and a website we had to PAY for

I guess they really are protecting us though...for every single one of us who would obey the rules if they allowed some sort of internet promotion, there's someone else who would go the extra mile to abuse the privilege somehow.

When I became a consultant, I just posted a note on my Myspace page saying I had started on a new adventure with a home-based business, and that if anyone wanted details they could email me or give me a call. Never mentioned PC, just got the word out that way. :)

wow thanks for the heads up on this. I didnt pay attention to this I guess. I better revise my page. Thanks

They are definately protecting us; I have found in the last 6 years that PC does what's best for us consultants.
We are about building relationships & building our customer base that way.

This is what I have on my pampered site...

I'm an independent sales consultant for a company that sells kitchen items at in home parties/cooking demonstrations. We offer great quality cooking and kitchen supplies sold in the convenience of your own home!
